2 stars but only because Amazon allowed a return on a NON RETURNABLE item. Buyer beware, this generator would not stay running right out of the box. After putting fresh oil in it and filling the fuel tank it started, then would die

    • Good generator, Starts on first pull.

Over the last few months, I have tested the generator and used it for backup power. It starts with one pull even after sitting for a week. I did not test the power output all the way to 4500 Watts, but it powered two space heaters (1200 watts each) easily. While this was not loud, It was not 'super quiet'. It was similar to other inverter generators I've used. The 4500 watt model I am using is not exactly light, I would guest it was 60+ lbs. While this is still portable, it is almost heavy enough to require wheels to move. Lifting it into my truck is not necessarily fun. I would like to have had a separate fuel shutoff on the generator. With the one dial, it is difficult to tell when you have shut off the fuel vs. shut of the electricity to the spark plug. Overall, this generator is pretty powerful for its size. I think it probably as durable as most of the generators out there these days. I was impressed with how well it functioned over the last couple of months. ... show more
