I wouldn’t care except I bought this to put together a chair, so I’m worried it will come off on the furniture. The screws also shed a bit of black when you wipe them off. Using these for some 3D printing projects. Have lots of choices and variety. The one gripe I have is when I opened the box there was some sort of liquid that was in it. The foam padding in the plastic container absorbed a lot of it. I think it is some sort of oil residue. It came with several sizes of Alan wrenches as well. They currently don’t fit in the case with the screws. As I use them up I am able to remove some of the sectioning panels to make space for them. This is one of those things that you never know when you'll need it, but you'll be happy if you have it. There's a good variety of nuts and bolts and a good amount. This is a nice set of hex heads to add to your hardware. These are great to keep on hand as M6\M8 covers a huge range of applications on foreign cars. I've been guilty of switching to a normal bolt when it calls for a hex head, with these on hand, I'll be able to keep the original hardware style using what I have on hand - which is always a good thing. ... show more

I do a lot of projects in RC and 3D printing that require 2 - 5mm hex screws quite often. Ideally, I wanted to find a large assortment kit of M2 - M5 cap screws only, with no washers or nuts, but those are almost non existent for some reason. I settled on this kit as it seemed to be the best value and had M2 screws which few others seem to offer. The screws are well made and don't have any rust or debris/excessive oil. Though, the hardware that you get, and price for all this are irrefutably a great deal, where it squarely falls flat is on the claim that these offer "superior rust and oxidation resistance". COMPLETELY false! Installed less than 2 days ago, and just with one bout of rain, and sitting on the driveway, these bolts are all rusting!!! I'm seriously concerned that, once these are exposed to harsh winter road spray, that these would start bleeding rust everywhere, possibly compromising other hardware it's attached to. This is completely unacceptable! Once this upcoming trip is done, I'm swapping all of these out to 100% stainless hardware. ... show more
