Perfect to have around for the odd job that needs a metric screw. The assortment is very good. I added the M2-M7 kit to round out the normal metric screws. Highly recommended for the hobbyist and DIYer. Metric screws are almost novelty items at the big box stores and even most good hardware store. Came with all the screws and washers that I needed. Unfortunately it looks like the screws were over oiled. I wouldn’t care except I bought this to put together a chair, so I’m worried it will come off on the furniture. The screws also shed a bit of black when you wipe them off. EDIT: ended up being just fine.

A solid and inclusive collection of nuts, bolts, & washers in 10.9 alloy steel. If you do DIY repair on anything built in pretty much any country besides the U.S. you’re likely to dip into this set reasonably often. It will almost certainly save you a few trips to the hardware store. I like to keep a selection of fasteners on hand to avoid those trips when possible. These are good quality with useful sizes, and nicely organized in a compact plastic case. I would buy again but doubt I’ll need to for a long time. Full Disclosure: I acquired this as a Vine user. This kit comes with 447 pieces, including both M6 and M8 button-head bolts, washers, lock washers and nuts in a variety of lengths, housed in a convenient plastic storage container. Two Allen wrenches are included as well. The fasteners are all high quality with nicely machined threads. M6 and M8 bolts are a very common metric size, which makes these convenient to have on hand. M6 and M8 are also common sizes for VESA screen mounts. It is nice having the different lengths included in the set, as I have found a wide variation in VESA mount bolt lengths depending on the size and manufacturer of the screen. All the fasteners are well organized with a printed label showing each size and location on both the top and inside lid of the container. There is not a one-to-one relationship of bolts to nuts. For example: there are 36-M8 bolts, with 38 M8 nuts, washers and lock washers, with a similar situation on the M6 fasteners: 72-M6 bolts, with 75 M6 nuts, washers and Lock washers. I really appreciate the extra nuts and washers, as other sets I have purchased had less nuts than bolts, which is frustrating. Bottom line: This is a high quality set of M6 and M8 button-head machine bolts, washers and nuts. It is all well organized in a convenient plastic storage container, complete with two Allen wrenches.
