This is exactly as described. It's sturdy, smooth, and well designed. Mounting a 100 lbs TV a full 40" away from the wall is pretty scary. You can be sure I followed the instructions, and put my full body weight onto the extended arm before I attached the TV. The wall made a sight creaking sound at first, but that's to be expected. After a few weeks with the TV mounted and fully extended, I've learned to trust the whole thing. As mentioned in other reviews, be careful to note a few things: 1.) The wall bracket is only good for 16" stud spacing. My wall had studs at 18", and luckily there was just enough bracket width for me to drill 4 extra holes. There's no way this would work with 24" stud spacing, without an extra plate behind it. Also, the instructions showed two extra screws being used at the center of the wall bracket, but who has studs on 9" centers? Even without those, I don't see any wall bracket deformation... and those other 4 beefy screws are not going to pull out of my studs. Those two suggested center screws would only be realistically used on masonary walls. 2.) The portrait/landscape rotation is great, but there are no detents at 90° intervals as you might hope. My 83" Sony's VESA mount points are not perfectly center mass of the TV, so it didn't stay perfectly in portrait orientation, even with the bracket's rotational screws as tight as possible. I'll figure something out. All-in-all, a trustworthy European product, and a great deal for $200. ... show more

great product. Mounting hardware has some room for improvement. The plastic drywall mounts need to be metal. Also make sure at least two of bolts, 1 on top row and 1 bottom row of mounting plate are in a stud in wall.

The Physix 4100 Long Arm TV Wall Mount for 32-85 inch Screens Extra Long Extension was just as described. It was easy to mount. The basic hardware to tighten the screws with the included Allen Wrench set was a big help. You will need a socket set with a cordless drill to mount the screws to your wall. I really like the way the mount looks with my 65" Samsung tv. The mount is very sturdy. I also use the vertical as well as horizontal positioning the mount offers. I have a space that's vertical that I use when the tv is not in use and then I pull out and look at the tv in a horizontal position when I am viewing my tv programs. ... show more

Solid, sturdy, and easy to use. I had a handyman install it so I can’t speak to that but it works like a charm. I have a box above my fireplace that is 20” deep and I wanted to be able to put my tv (which is a couple inches too wide for the box) in and back at an angle for storage, but to come all the way out and point down and left or right. I haven’t actually tested the angling down yet because it seems to require a wrench to loosen the nuts that allow the tilt. But the side to side motion and rotation are easy ... show more

The Physix 2120 Long arm TV Wall Mount was higher quality than I expected. It's extremely well constructed. All pivot points are of very high quality, smooth operating, stay in the position you place them in. The template is a benefit. The manufacturer list this wall mount as a minimum 32 inch TV mount. I was able to mount a 24 inch TV without a problem. I purchased this because of the 47 inch reach. I would definitely recommend this product to anybody that needs an extended reach. ... show more
