This is a pretty great kit for beginners! I have everything I need to now start doing my own nails. I use online video tutorials for literally everything, so I don't have an issue with lacking instructions - it's all pretty standard stuff. And there's a ton of it! It's not exactly giftable, it's more of a grab-bag of DIY nail goodies for anyone wanting to get started doing their own acrylics. It's got all the tools you need and then some. I'm a beginner with this, but not a beginner to doing my own nails, and I can find a use for most of the stuff in this kit. Great find!

If this item is marketed for beginners, it really should come with instructions. There are none whatsoever. The parts that it does come with appears to be decent quality. Most items are individually bagged and seems like they are ok. But if this is a kit for beginners, it really does need to come with instructions, otherwise you have no idea what they are for. My daughter and her friends just looked at this and got intimidated because they have no idea what any of the items are for and how to use them correctly. Also, it doesn't come with UV light, so they can't even experiment with it until I get them a light. If you really are a beginner (which should be the case if you are buying a beginner kit), know that this is just intimidating and is not fully complete. If you got this so you can learn by trial and error, I guess that is ok, but seems to be a bit of a waste. If you are gifting this, the packaging does not look very well done. It's just a brown cardboard box. Seem like this item has potential, but it is certainly not fully tapped.

This acrylic nail kit is true to the listing details and includes all that is shown. It includes 3 base coat colors (pink, white, and clear). There is a fun variety of 12 powder colors and 12 glitters, rhinestones, and tips. The colors and glitters are pretty small containers but enough to experiment fun designs. Prior to using this kit, be sure to acquire a UV lamp for curing. There is a small user manual leaflet that is written in pretty small print. If you're unsure about usage, there are lots of diy videos on youtube that can help you get acquainted with how to use the various items in this kit.

This is not a beginner- friendly kit! There are no instructions and I'm not sure how any of it works. I also thought this was a press-on/fake nail kit. It is not! There are nail extensions, but you're only supposed to add them to the tip of your nail? They are difficult to apply, and they leave a ridge in the middle of your nail. I thought this would fun but it's just messy and bad.

This is a good beginner's kit that includes a lot of stuff needed to do your own acrylic nail set. I wouldn't say these are the best quality items, but considering the price of $17.99, it is a good practice kit. I removed a star because it does not come with any instructions, which is a bit tricky if you are just starting out.

The set comes with everything you need, including acrylic powder, glitter, rhinestones, and even nail decorations. The instructions were easy to follow, and I loved how creative I could get with the designs. The glitter and rhinestones added a fun touch, and my nails turned out better than I expected for my first try. But, I did find it a bit messy at times. The powder tends to spill easily, and it took me a while to get the right consistency. Also, the acrylic didn't set as quickly as I thought it would, which slowed me down.

The media could not be loaded. This looks very intimidating to me, but my DIL is getting into nails and is very excited about this kit. It has so much stuff in it and it looks like it would be everything that you would need to get started learning how to do your own acrylic nails. The instructions are a booklet and they describe in words (no pictures), how to use each of the items contained in the kit. It even has a little finger model so that you can practice on it. At $18 it’s reasonably priced for someone wanting to learn how to do this themselves. I know that there are tons more items that you can get for acrylic nails, but this has a lot of the basics and a bunch of powders, etc. No doubt there are tons of tutorials online. I might not get this for a younger teen unless you just know that they are capable, but an older teen or a young adult, or of course, an older adult who is wanting to learn this skill, I would imagine this is a perfect kit to begin with. It is packaged in a paper box, which I love. No wasteful plastic case.
