I tried out like 5 different backpacks like this and this one won! Perfect size. Can fit so much. I really liked the dry bag part (and yes, I did use it on my trip!) I also love the hole for my charging cord to run through while it was attached to my power bank. This is the traveler’s backpack that can take you on the road with your larger notebook computer plus a few days of clothes and work materials. It is a classic black, pro look, and is easy to carry with ample padding. It has a large number of levels and pockets for storing and organizing whatever you need for your travels. It comes with a large number of useful features, from an easy to set up charging setup to a padded compartment for your computer to a strap that allows you to attach it to your roller bag for one luggage carrying. It can also be carried on your shoulder like a regular backpack, but I found the carrying strap to attach it to my roller bag very handy. Your mileage will vary - it can hold a few days of clothes but it may not have enough space for everything (toiletries, a pair of shoes, and more). You may need a second bag for longer trips - it all depends on how light you can pack. No matter, your computer, charger, and other electronics will fit easily and be well protected throughout your trip. All of this comes at a very nice price point, and it is a bag that can take the place of larger bags that are harder to carry or stow. Final benefit, small enough to carry on and put in the overhead or under the seat.

I was very pleasantly surprised by how much space is in this relatively compact backpack. The sides each have clips to help you compress the backpack down, which is extremely handy for traveling and underseat storage on planes. There is a separate, padded laptop compartment that sits against your back. The main compartment is wide open, and the front folds down entirely, so you could actually pack clothes in here and treat it like a small overnighter. There are two compartments on the front, one slim perfect for documents and other mostly flat items, and another that has zippers on both sides for quick access. I would love it if there were some more dedicated storage pouches and organization, but the nice thing about this is that you can use your own cable organizers and other things to fill that gap. One thing that is sorely missing (in my opinion) is a pouch to hold a battery pack. The backpack has a convenient charging access port (USB-A only, sadly) to the outside for your mobile devices, but inside the bag, it's just a cable, and there is nothing on the inside to hold that battery you're connecting. You could use one of the compartments on the inside of the front, but you'd be both giving up that pouch for something else, and now have this USB tether preventing that flap from completely opening, limiting it's utility. so expect your battery pack to be more or less floating inside the bag. A few things to note ... first, it's nylon on the outside, which while not the most premium feel, is definitely utilitarian. The logo stitched on the front is the same color as the fabric, so you won't be overly distracted by the odd brand name on this bag. The stitching in general feels sturdy, so hopefully it will hold up. Overall, this backpack is an extremely pleasant surprise! Looking forward to my holiday travel with it!

Okay, so for the price point - I think the bag will definitely do what you want it to do. There are several various pockets available for laptops, tablets, etc. There is an ample amount of padding on the section that would come into contact with your back - the straps are able and sturdy. The fit and finish of the bag are adequate, it does have that shiny nylon look which is indicative of lower quality which may rip or tear under heavy use. I don't think you would get much use out of this bag under any heavy use - that being said, if you are aware of that going into it and this bag fits your budget, I think it would be just fine for airline or light travel. My grading scale: 5 Stars = Knocks it out of the park, PERFECT BUY! 4 Stars = Excellent find, you should definitely give it a shot. 3 Stars = It works and functions as advertised. 2 Stars = A little scary, but do your research and it may work out. 1 Stars = Avoid this product and look elsewhere. All of my reviews are based on actual use of the product. I do not communicate with sellers and I am not compensated for positive or negative reviews - they are as honest as I can make them.
