I needed something less than 19 tall to fit under my workbench so it was perfect for my needs . Would recommend this generator from Aceup to anyone. Appears they are a stand alone company according to their website , not just selling someone elses rebranded product . They also sell a larger model that I was going to order but was not sure of height . That one should be good for someone needing more power . Very happy with my purchase and was impressed with how nice the construction and features were! Of course time will tell but it does what it is supposed to and seems VERY comparable to other generators in this class for substantial savings ! Eco mode is nice as it reduces RPM and noise level. I think anyone looking for an inverter generator in this class would be happy with it .Do not buy something too small for your needs though . Add up your appliances and base your generator output on that ! Remember generator surge watts are NOT running watts ! You will burn up your generator no matter who makes it !

Purchased this generator to replace the 2000 watt generator that stopped working. The Aceup 4000 has twice the power at an amazing deal!! This generator is quiet and runs our RV with a 15000 btu a/c with all the lights on with no problem! I love the display. It shows everything. It starts first pull. If youβre wanting a powerful generator at an incredible deal this is the one to purchase. It weighs around 50lb and is easy to move around. The build quality compares to generators that would cost you 3 times the amount of money!

This unit is really ok. Don't let the low price scare you. I took a chance and am not sorry. When I first got it, I did all per the instructions. Unfortunately, I had "flooded" the carburetor and removed the spark plug, and dried it off. Then I let the unit sit for 30 minutes. Put the plug back in, and Wham-o, it fired right up! I let it run for over an hour with a small heater plugged in, at 1500 watts. The generator never slowed down and ran until it ran out of gas. Drained the carb. bowel and fogged the cylinder & plug. Now I can let it sit for quite a while with no worries. I also drained the oil after one hour, and man, a lot of small metal chips were noted. I used the magnetic oil plug, and it caught a lot of metal chips as well. I guess this is very common in brand-new engines, so be wise and protect your investment.

I purchased this generator simply for the low price, huge mistake. I added oil and gas and tried cranking but not happening. I pulled the spark plug and it was wet from the gas so I tested the spark. No spark. I pulled a few more times and the spark mysteriously returned and the generator started. Still haven't figured that one out. When the generator started it ran for three seconds at wide open throttle and died. Tried several more times with the same results. I then noticed that the stepper motor on top of the carburetor had fallen apart. I brought the generator in the house and set it on the kitchen table so I could fish the broken parts from the generator. To my surprise gas began pouring from the generator. Now my wife is pissed. I contacted Amazon to try to get a resolution only to be told it was a nonreturnable item and I would have to contact the manufacturer. Good luck with that! They don't answer the phone number provided and the only response i got through email so far is suggestions on what the issues might be. π€ Amazon needs to step in and make this right. Refund my money or send me a working nondefected generator. Update: Amazon did provide a refund! Thanks
