I put up my ac unit this past weekend, but my blackout curtains were too long covering the ac. I needed a way to shorten them to just above the ac for the season. I found these curtain clips/rings; the price was right and they arrived quickly. I was able to simply fold the curtains to the desired length and attach the clips to the fold (I spaced the clips a few inches apart; used about 5 for each panel), I then slide the curtain rod through the rings, hung the curtains back up…easy-peasy. I used these for the first time and they did exactly what I wanted. I had bought some rod-pocket curtains and wasn't happy with the fact that I couldn't get them pushed open as far as I wanted as they kept sliding back to the center. These rings have sturdy little clips and slide easily across the curtain rod, making it easy to pull the curtains completely open or shut. I fastened them to the back side of the curtains so the clips don't show and it's a casual look, not formal, but works for me. ... show more

This product is pretty decent. The clips to hold the curtains themselves ARE stiff, but can be opened with not too much pressure ( some more than others). The ring itself, however, is nearly impossible to open to put on a curtain rod after it is already up. If you are able to slide them on before you hang it up, you are good and these are great! If you can’t do that or need to add any once the rod is up- may the odds forever be in your favor. ... show more
