These are exactly what I wanted for single panel velvet curtains. They blend in an hold the curtains back nicely. My top tip is to put them on an angle to help get a more draped look instead of just holding them back straight.

Purchased these to tuck back the curtains at our cabin. They work great for both lightweight and heavyweight curtains. I installed them on an angle so as to fit on the trim. Perfect! I was able to toss those annoying cloth tiebacks. Now we can just tuck the curtains in place!

Hooks themselves feel sturdy and are well finished. The included screws are terrible however. One snapped immediately and I had to drill it out so I could use another. Save yourself the trouble and use some different screws form Home Depot or something.
