I am not sure what the other reviewers received, but I found the ones I received solid/sturdy. All four had loose heads, but I could tighten them. The blades I received are sharp, no problem cutting! I am easily able to make precise cuts.

I haven't had these long enough to say they're super durable or sturdy. But they definitely do what I needed them for, mincing feeder insects for baby tarantulas. Seem like they'd do good for other crafty purposes, too.

+ Good if you need a bunch of different colored handles + works as intended - came sticky - coarse blades Everything looks more crude - for example, x-acto blade backside is pretty flat and straight, every blade in this set has a shoddy little cruft on it. I have a tendency to put a finger there so not exactly pleased to find it pointy. Beyond that - why did it arrive sticky? I ended washing everything first, because my fingers became slimy in the process of opening, and then it left sticky residue on my counter. ... show more

So the blade holders... they are FAIRLY good really lightweight.. good for some things but I dont see them holding up to abuse.. the blades BEYOND CHEAP.. BE DANG CAREFUL using them.. they are FLIMSY as can be. I have a small sign business and trying to follow a straight edge these blades BEND and throw you foo the straight edge.. then when you try to get them back against it they jump the edge and run right at you.. DONT put any pressure on them the flex like crazy. and when they flex they dont follow the path you put them on.. all and all im OK with the blade holders.. but the blades them selves.. are complete junk.. ... show more
