Very nice tent for the price. It's huge, easy to install and fold. The "window" on the top is awesome for stargazing, surprisingly waterproof too. The roll-up shades are a bit difficult to use. The main concern is the very thin floor material, you have to be really careful not to rip it, so say you don't want to bring a chair with sharp legs in it. This tent is so easy. Like everyone else said, it pops up in 2 seconds and takes a bit longer to fold down, maybe 2 minutes. You have to bend the rings just right to get that final figure 8 fold. I don’t wanna break the rings so I’m gentle and it takes me a bit longer, but overall, SO easy and much better than any other tent I’ve used. It does come with poles for the front awning, you just have to use the included string and tie them to a tree or something. It didn’t rain when I camped so I can’t speak to the waterproof factor, but it kept me just as warm as any other tent. Highly recommend! ... show more

This 4 person tent is so easy to setup, sturdy, and very roomy for two people and gear.... I think it's a little too small for 4 people unless they are petite. Great ventilation and easy access with entry and exit from either end. That said, my friend and I tried at least a dozen times prior to camping, and viewed several videos, to collapse and store tent back in it's bag. It wasn't easy and I began to wonder how I could return it if I couldn't get it back in it's bag. Eventually, we managed and took it camping and got it back in the bag on the second attempt. So, ... very nice, portable tent, but definitely study the how-to videos and practice folding it up before taking it to the woods! ... show more

I have been camping and backpacking my whole life. This tent is fantastic if you your goal is a relaxing car camping trip with the most minimal set up and take down time, and was a good value. Before using it, I was concerned that it would not popup fully, and the roof would be caving on me, however it stayed at full height throughout our 3 day trip, which did get very windy. It was more roomy than I expected, nice looking, and has generous openings. It was so easy to take down, AFTER watching the video! The only downside is that the rainfly is VERY small. I will not be brining it on trips where rain is in the forecast. It was great for camping in California. ... show more

I used my new tent over the weekend. Before using it and after reading so many reviews complaining about not being able to fold it back up, I made sure to practice folding the tent before my trip. The instructions come with a QR code that takes you to a video that shows exactly how to fold the tent back up. It’s so easy to set the tent up and it’s just as easy to put it away in the bag. It’s a very spacious tent and the breeze comes in and out with the two entrances and two windows. The moon roof is an added bonus! 10/10 recommend! ... show more

Setting up - This thing was so easy to setup it did all the work for us on this aspect. I bought this for bonnaroo(a music festival) with my boyfriend. setting up the tent was his thing and he nailed it down as well which felt very secure but the both ends did pop up off the ground a little bit but that didn’t really make a difference or matter to us space- We fit a blow up full size mattress in it and some clothes etc I would say we could have fit a queen size in it but we wouldn’t have had any extra space by doing so. This is definitely not a luxurious tent and would not try to squeeze more than two people. Wind resistance- Great! Maybe too great. Even with all of the windows and doors on both sides heat was TRAPPED it was so hot in there it felt like you were suffocating and sitting in an oven. Keep in mind though this was in Tennessee heat in June so it would get up to around 100F. And at night we would be freezing so take that as you will keeping out bugs the screens were great at this one no bugs would come in unless you open the screens Water resistance you know i am not entirely sure on what to say about this one. The rain wouldn’t get in and i wouldn’t say any of our stuff was drenched. but it rained when we used it a little bit(no downpour) and we would seam up our tent well but all of our stuff including the bed would be very damp and we definitely got a little bit sick from having to sleep in the damp cold tent at night. packing up packing up was a little more difficult and we were afraid of breaking it when we had it to bend and fold it up. a few times we thought for sure we were going to break it. but we didn’t! its all about being gentle with it and finding the soft points in it. it maybe took 15 minutes? overall- I want to say better things about this. This would be good for a one night trip. maybe a weekend. I really wouldn’t use it for another week long trip like i took. maybe i would use it for an extended trip if it trapping humidity in it wasn't a problem. Maybe go for a tent slightly bigger so it has more ventilation. I really did enjoy how its a pop up though and I wish i could find some larger tents that were also pop ups! ... show more

I love the idea of this tent. But it’s been on 4 camping trips in a year and it’s basically useless now. The screen for the doors already has holes from basic use. The zippers catch so much the doors cannot be reliably closed. And the material is already wearing out around the footprint poles. I expect it wlll fall apart completely soon. Don’t waste your money. Update: poles snapped 15 months after purchase ... show more

Very easy to open, just pop it open ..closing is easy if u follow directions. Important to place foot at base when twisting gently....several videos are available. I closed it it about 5 x for practice so it would be easy and quick....love this tent size! Bought the rain cover for eXtra protection. (No more fumbling with metal rods- like other tents)....this tent is the winner. Also for storage, tiny footprint, like the size of a small hula hoop...completely flat. Love that as well.
