So it's certainly clear. You just have to be sure to pull the plastic covering off, otherwise it'll look foggy. Yes it would be nice if you couldn't see the screws a bit once the cupcake stand is assembled but honestly...who's looking that hard. The down side is that I saw the reviews after the fact and people are correct. The "legs" of the cake stand and mismatched so that's a bit annoying. But they do give you clear rubber pads for the bottoms of everything so it's not sitting flat. So I used the remaining pads on the top part of the cake stand, this way I can at least use it as just another platter. Over all I can use everything just not as intended, so I guess it's ok/meh. ... show more

Served it purpose for the day but ended up returning because the bottom of my 3 tier tray didn’t have a hole for the pole. So I had to seperate them. I of course didn’t open until party day so didn’t notice and still needed something for display so I used them disappointed. The desert trays are great quality. The cake stand was sturdy as long as you didn’t pick it up. Even with only 2 high on cupcake stand it was wobbly. Not sure if bottom tray would have made a difference. ... show more

    • Cake stand pieces didn’t fit together

The cup cake stand worked out great, I didn’t like that you can see the screws used to assemble the tiers, maybe switch to something clear. The cake display didn’t even go together so I couldn’t use it. The bottom two pieces to make the stand we’re both the same and the slits in the glass didn’t fit into each other unless I turned one upside down.. and it being upside down make it wobble because of the notches on the top of it we’re supposed to be holding the cake plate. I had to open and use the cupcake display that is all I got for the party but I had to run out and buy a plastic cake display for the party since this one wasn’t made properly. ... show more
