This is a basic paint by number set. It includes 2 pictures to paint, 8 small pots of numbered paints, 2 paint brushes and 2 triangle picture hooks with screws. This set is good for beginners because not many colors are used, some sections are lightly colored for guidance and most of the areas to paint are a decent size. However, the numbers on the images are tiny. The canvases are stapled to wooden frames which makes them more stable and easier to paint. As the paint included is limited, it will have to be used sparingly to complete the pictures. There is a medium paint brush to use for most areas and a very thin one for painting details. I originally thought my granddaughter could paint one while her friend paints the other. But to do this would require more brushes. I was attracted to this set because my granddaughter likes painting and Pokémon characters. The way this product is wrapped, the Pokémon character, Pikachu, doesn't show. While I'm all for minimal packaging, since this kit doesn't come in a box showing finished products, papers with them should be included. But this will work well for my purposes. My granddaughter will like painting Pikachu and her sister loves blue so she may like the picture with Stitch.

Both my mother-in-law and my daughter love paint by number sets. So I got this, so that my daughter could do the 2 she likes (llama and fox) and m-i-l can work on the other 2. They come all together in a big clear bag, but then I opened each little "tube" of plastic in it (there are 4), to separate them for each person. I was pleased that each sleeve had one artwork and the paints it needs, because that made it easier to separate. Now I can ship the one's I think my daughter will like to her, and let my mother-in-law (who has dementia but likes to do crafts) paint the other 2 as Christmas presents for the kids. She was just complaining about another set yesterday having paints that contracted as they dried, so I'll let you know if she has the same beef with these. But the best judge of them will be my daughter, who I know will find them adorable. She is deployed and therefore just needs hobbies in her free time to keep her busy. Instructions, paints, brushes and a hanger come with each canvas. Nothing wrong with these that I can see except that you have to frame/mount on frame yourself. Hours of fun for kids/those who enjoy these paint-by-number kits.

The designs are really cute on these paint by number kits. We were not really impressed with the paint brushes or the paints, though, which is really a disappointment. Fortunately, we have extra supplies here in our craft stash.

This is a great small little art kit for any child looking to do a canvas paint by number. The canvas is easy to read and it is a good size for short attention spans. My only wish- I wish they would offer a little bit more paint for the heavy handed painter, but it is not a bad little kit otherwise.
