Got this to use as a leather burnishing tool. Previously tried to convert a similar-sized bench grinder, but it just wasn't well suited for the task. This things works great with a leather burnishing wheel, and also at its normal polishing duties.

I like the extreme speed of the unit as this was the only one I could find with such incredible rpms. I don't care for the 6 cloth buffing wheels include as even with light pressure to buff, the dang things spit cloth and strings all over the place. It is horrible. The 2 abrasive wheels are great. They will probably be the only ones I end up using. I will likely opt for an 8inch buffer built in the USA that use high quality wheels that don't shred to pieces when the unit is just turned on.

You take your chances when you order off brand, (maybe you've heard of Cironbow, but I haven't) imported stuff. In this case, it paid off. This has the look and feel of a high quality tool. It runs very smoothly. In addition to the on off toggle switch, it has a potentiometer to control the speed. At high speed there is essentially no vibration. I've never wanted to spend the time switching out the wheels on my bench grinder so in the past I have used a hand held drill with a cloth wheel to polish stuff. It is really nice to have a dedicated tool for cleaning stuff up. It is very small. The wheels are only four inches. And, it is very light. If I push too hard when polishing, it will slide a bit. There are mounting holes you can use if you want to dedicate a spot in your shop for it. I think I could just put something heavy behind he motor to keep it from sliding. (Or I can just not push my work quite so firmly into the wheel.) When I'm not using it, it takes up very little space on the shelf. If you want something of small and light for polishing, this thing is great.

Great jewelry polisher machine. It's definitely got some weight to it, but it is fun to use and make old things looks new. I don't use the grinder as much as the polisher. Just fun that I was just looking for anything I could find to polish it's a good size for small things, so no heavy duty stuff. Definitely happy to have.

Quiet operation Variable speed... up to 1000 rpm Video shows it on operation. And last photo shows before and after on my first project... which was buffing my kitchen hardware.
