This fabric is not denim, but dyed to look like denim. It’s very thin, I was going to use it to sew a dress but when I felt it I knew it wasn’t going to hold up at all. I was willing to try to make it work, but then I noticed these brown stains on the fabric. I’m not sure I want to know what it is, not going to try and get that out so I’m returning. The only reason why I didn’t give it a one star review is that without the brown stains I think this fabric would be ideal for small projects, not for apparel. Fabric was very soft but overall I was disappointed.

It's definitely not denim. It's quite thin and not as strong as denim. It "sort of" looks like denim, but even in appearance it's obviously not denim.

It's much thinner than I expected. But it's also nice and soft. I intended to use it for the outside layer of some face masks I wanted to sew. It doesn't have enough stiffness to hold up as the outer layer for the 3D, 2-layer model that I wanted to make. So I decided to make it the inside layer instead, choosing a heavier, stiffer denim for the outside. It worked out fine because this thinner and softer layer is more breathable and comfortable as the side that touches the face. The light denim color is great, and I will be ordering more, this time the darker color just for variety. After reading some of the reviews, I will be sure to wash the darker denim several times until the color bleeding issue is resolved before using.

I’ve ordered a bit of this at a time and was wanting all light denim. My latest package wasn’t light, it was medium. I can use it on another project but this has set me back on the one I was collecting light denim for. No way to just contact the seller and don’t want to mess with returning it. Not really happy but it is what it is. Praying my next order is correct.

This was actually nice fabric. I liked the color, the drape and the weight (as advertised it's pretty thin). It seems strong and was ready to work with. I didn't read the description correctly and didn't realize it's sold in one yard pieces. I would have liked to have an entire the yards instead of three one-yard pieces of fabric. My bad for not reading it correctly, but disappointing nonetheless. Looks like you may be able to buy larger pieces than one yard now.
