i got the 6-person tent even though i camp as 1 person because i don't like feeling cramped. it would be good for 4 people. i will say that for 1 person it's almost too big! when sitting at one end it's hard to reach objects at the other end without scooting (i'm 5'6"). but it's so roomy. the tent has a "front" door and a "back" door. this would be really helpful when having 2 beds, because then each mattress has its own door. above the front door is a hook for hanging a light. i put a queen size mattress lengthwise in the back corner. both doors are accessible and i can sit at the end of the mattress while still being in the tent. i used that front corner for storing things i frequently want to access, either from inside or outside the tent. i had tons of room at the other front corner for storage, and along the side wall opposite the mattress. i could have fit my camping chair there. it's not possible for an adult to stand up but sitting or kneeling is fine. it's a little awkward ducking inside but helpful that the doors are slanted inward. i liked that the solid (outside) part of the door has velcro tabs along the sides, so you can leave it unzipped for easier access. i would have preferred that this unzipped at the top too, but it probably keeps it more waterproof. so i clipped one bottom corner to the diagonal top corner with a carabiner which kept it out of the way during the day. you can unzip both sides and tie it up, but i left it half zipped for privacy and there was plenty of airflow with both doors half zipped this way. i'm also able to adjust the rain fly by unclipping part of it which improves air flow and keeps it from getting hot during the day. the fly has elastic bunching either end ("rain cap" design) that you can pull over the top of the doors and also pull back to keep it more open. it was super easy to get the rain fly on, and this was the most setup the tent needs. i just clipped it to the tent and didn't stake it. i didn't stake the tent at all since i had lots of stuff inside and it stayed put thru some strong gusts and didn't collapse and the fly didn't move. i did get cold at night in 60 degrees so it's not insulated but it blocks the wind. i HATE setting up/tearing down tents which is why i bought this and i laughed at my friends after i threw my tent into my spot and it was up in 2 seconds while they were still working. i laughed at them again when i it put it away in 5 minutes. you can practice refolding the tent at home until you "get" it, it took me 2 tries and i didn't need any help with it. you just have to hang onto the poles while you push down, and keep holding it in a circle as you wiggle the strap into place. it makes a cracking sound when it collapses into place so don't be alarmed, it isn't breaking.

Firstly, I must declare that this tenant cannot hold six people. At all. It can hold four at the most and that would be an incredibly tight squeeze. It is most comfortable with one - two adults. This tent, holy cow. My absolute new camping love. I am a big camping person, and I mean that with all of my heart. I camp at least five times a year, at the minimum. I finagled with a big mansion tent for four years and finally got rid of it because it was just too much, and replaced it with this pop tent. Best purchase ever!!! This thing literally pops open. You unzip the carrying case, you remove the strap and you back up because it’s about to expand and pop right open, it might smack you in the face. It literally opens instantly. There is no set up. The set up is literally unzipping the carrying case and backing away from the tent, so it doesn’t smack you when it pops up. Now you would think well how does this hold up to the weather?, Is it element proof? It absolutely is. I took this thing camping with me probably on a weekend I should not have gone camping, there were thunderstorms and lightning and rain everywhere. Anyway, I had this little tent staked down on a lakefront flat, the wind was so intense. It would have blown my tent away if I wasn’t inside of it But this little thing held the whole time. It never blew away, it never broke, it never ripped. All of my stuff inside stayed completely 100% dry. And it was pouring rain outside, I mean, absolutely torrential down poor. Bone dry on the inside. The netting for the tent is very finally woven and perfect for keeping out bugs. I always had a problem with those teeny tiny gnat flies… those things won’t get in this tent. All in all, I am so happy I purchased this thing. It makes camping so easy and so manageable. If the campground you chose sucks, simply fold up the tent, put it in your car and find a new one Pack up / pack down is so fast and efficient. It cannot be beat. I purchased a foam pad roll up cot mattress to acompany this little camping set up, and it’s a dream. So comfortable, so easy to put up, literally takes no time, and hardly takes up any space in your car. If you’re a camping person, you need this tent. Just don’t believe the sizing ratio, it cannot hold six people. It really cannot. It’s not that big. 4 adults tops, and that’s pushing it. Folding up is also not hard. The diagram they give you works pretty well. If that doesn’t work watch a video. Once you get the hang of it you can fold it up in a minute flat. * if any parents ever had one of those contraptions called a “peapod” for their infant when their kids were very, very small, this tent is exactly like that. It folds up the exact same way the peapod does*

The quality of this tent is solid with no issues, and it’s very easy to set up. Packing it up can be a bit tricky and takes some effort, but it’s manageable overall. The only downside is the limited space—at night, the carbon dioxide you exhale tends to condense on the top of the tent, likely due to the confined interior. Other than that, it’s a good tent and performs well.

I bought this tent for an upcoming Scout campout with my two young kids. We are all experienced campers and have another more traditional tent, but knowing I'd be setting up and taking down a tent on my own this trip with no other adults made me want to find something less time-consuming and less cumbersome for one person to set up alone. This one exceeds my expectations for ease of set up AND takedown. I tested it out with a backyard campout this weekend, and it has been perfect. It literally just pops open. The first time I packed it back up, it took a little while (maybe 10-12 minutes?) simply because I didn't know what I was doing and mostly because I was afraid of snapping the poles. When I actually took the time to read the instructions (which are printed very clearly, with pictures, on the tent's bag, easy to see every time you use it), it noticed it said, "Don't worry about breaking the poles, they are very sturdy." So once I trusted that, it was easy peasy, and the poles have indeed not broken. The second time I used it, packing it away took less than 5 minutes. VERY EASY, and things like that do not typically come easily to me. The tent itself is very roomy (plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 children, with some extra space) and I love that there are two zipper doors as well as two mesh windows. We used the rain fly and did not get wet from the morning dew (the outside of the tent was quite wet from condensation, but we were very dry inside. I have now sprayed rain protectant for additional coverage in case of rain). I have noticed a few reviews mentioning how there is not much standing room, and that is true for many, but I am short so my kids and I didn't even notice, ha. I am SO PLEASED with this purchase (not to mention, such a good deal!) and if anything happens to it, I'll buy it again. I foresee many more spontaneous campouts and backyard camping nights now that I know setting up a tent can be so painless. BUY IT!!

5 stars as this tent was just as expected. You can’t stand up in it. BUT the floor area comes out in a scoop shape further than the top of the tent (so the door is a slope) so that spot is perfect to unzip the tent, then fully stand up and get shoes on before stepping out! Used the first time without rain fly, some moisture on the inside ceiling near the door but that’s expected because of the dew! Chose this one vs others because I love the open netted ceiling, and this has that where as the other ones just have windows, no rainfly. We previously were using a 10person tent with a queen cot (two adults three beagles) and while it was very nice, we want to spend less time setting up, taking down etc especially because most of our trips are short or long weekends. A rain fly/ double layer tent like this is also better for waterproofing Overall, absolutely love it. Succesful trial overnight with the family, and in a week we will be taking it for a multi night trip! Will update if there are issues

Held up in the rain just fine. Used it for 7 days straight, with no issues.. I used a tarp tucked underneath & didn’t touch the top or sides while raining/dewy. On day 3 there was a trail of ants walking across the mesh door. They did not get in, so the mesh did great. I was able to use the other door to get out. I bought 2 brands of this tent. Both were easy to put up & take down. (With reference to the instructions on the cover). I’m keeping this one because the separate rain fly ensured breathability even in the rain, and kept the rain from pooling on the top. It was big enough for my twin air mattress, turned window-to-window, and plenty of space on each side for my things. Turned door-to-door, this could fit a queen air mattress, but not much more. I could have easily fit myself & 3 kids in here with sleeping bags. It does get humid inside if it’s humid outside. But not the condensation from breathing like my campsite friends experienced in their tents.

No, it is an awful tent unless it's for kids only. It was easy to put up and take down, although no way 4 people can sleep in it. Adults must lay on the length side, not across the short sides ,(and I'm only 5'5"). Very difficult to get in and out of it, side windows open but they are useless as the flyleaf covers them unless you don't use the flyleaf. If it rains and not using the flyleaf, then everything will get wet. I'm returning it. Would never recommend.

Once you figure out how to put it back in the bag, it's pretty cool. Not sure how good it will be in the rain. It's amazing the size if this thing and the ease of setup. I bought my kids a very small version of these type of tents before so getting this one back in the bag was probably a little easier for me... but it can be challenging.
