Finally got a chance to go camping again used our new Hinstant 6 person tent. This is a really nice tent. The set up was very easy and fast. The tent was good size for our needs. We have a queen self inflating mattress and a small self inflating camping pad for our daughter. There was about 2 feet between the 2 mattresses for a couple of our bags. At the foot of the mattresses there was only about 18" which was a bit tight for us. Wish the tent was just a bit deeper to accommodate our bags but that's not the tents fault. We had a cold front move through and the tent did well in some decent winds. The winds died down and later that evening it rained steady, not terribly hard, for about an hour. The reason I am giving this tent one star is after about 30 minutes of rain the tent began leaking in multiple areas. the seams were leaking all over and there were significant puddles in our tent we had to deal with. We camp frequently in a multitude of different situations and currently have 5 tents. This is the only tent that we have encountered this issue with despite being rained on many times in our other tents. I am very disappointed in the lack of water resistant of this tent because its actually a nice tent. I would send this back but I'm beyond my return window. Tent came with holes in the center, was definitely not water resistant as the inside flooded with one rain shower. The seams especially did not hold up. The rain fly was fine, but the seams soaked through water as it drizzled down the tent. Easy to setup good size, bad zipper quality. Was good to set up quick, bad if you need a tent that’s even semi worthwhile for camping- especially in cold or wet seasons. Already returned it ... show more

I was drawn by the fast setup of this tent .....and it is fast, but that seems to be the only really good thing about it. The tent itself is so so, but zippers are absolutely crap.....flat out horrendous quality and without a doubt will fail after 2 or 3 uses ! Floor material is made of 2 stitch seamed pieces ( even the cheapest kids tent at Walmart has one piece floor) ! Rainfly is quite small and only just covers the roof area. All in all, this tent is very disappointing and i can confidently say that it will probably be in the trash can after a couple of uses. ... show more

I dont recommend. Very poorly made. I used it for camping with my fam and a storm rolled through and this thing leaked at every seam and zipper that it has. I shouldve known it was trash when i saw the seam on the floor of it. Why It has a seam on the floor, i dont know. Ive owned many tents and never seen one like that the water seeped through the bottom at that seam (along with all the rest) and flooded the interior. We had to use clothes to mop up all around until we finally abandoned camp and drove home 1 1/2 hours away in the middle of the night. It gets one star for ease of setting it up, otherwise a zero. Only thing good is the 60 second set-up! But the tent ripped at the top when packing it up. Also it’s 100% NOT WATERPROOF. The tent leaked all along the seams of the tent. All the windows leaked. Over all very horrible experience. Glad we were able to return and get our money back. But don’t waste your time!!! ... show more

Tent was ripped as soon as we set it up on the ceiling. The assembly and take down was easy and the size of the tent was great, it also fit back in the original bag well. It would have been a great tent if it wasn't ripped.

Pro: The tent set up Quickly. Cons: The plastic slot that holds the corner of the tent to one of the poles broke on day 2 of our camping trip. It also rained during our camping trip, and the tent leaked measurably in at least 4 locations below the protection of the rainfly (specifically around the retention straps near the window and door zippers, which are apparently not sealed well). ... show more
