... show more

  • Bad battery
Very cute .... It is ok regarding the apps..... However in order to use an app you have to wait several seconds to see some ads..... And the top of negatives is the battery!!!! I must charge every two hours and I have got it only two days

  • Better than expected
With a few tweaks, this has been a positive experience. I am actually considering ditching my big moto g phone for this. My needs are limited and this is a good way to prevent idle doom scrolling or other smart phone themed time eating activities. I can't handle a flip phone. Sure the size and Trek factors are OMG, but usability is WTF and trying to text is LOL. How fast does it go? Just barely enough to not piss you off.... Baaaarrely. First few days the battery goes real quick but it gets better after updates and things settle. It also charges incredibly quick, 2% per minute with a good charger. This hits the sweet spot for me perfectly. So what are those tweaks? There's some very annoying adware. I believe right now it's called Google Partner Setup, but that can change. Just disable anything not recognized until you find the pending app. Next, download a better launcher app from pay store or other. For those that didn't know the launcher in Android is the user interface, like Windows GUI. Ironically, the Microsoft Launcher is rock solid. Last, disable all animations and transitions under accessibility. This will unload the processor and memory a little and let it run a bit faster. ... show more

  • As a burner, travel phone, or kid’s first smartphone, the value is solid.
This is a decent phone as a burner, a travel backup, or a first phone for children who don’t need the full capabilities of a modern device. The dual‑SIM setup makes it especially useful for international travel if your primary carrier charges for roaming. The 5MP rear camera produces acceptable daylight photos, but the limitations are obvious. A close‑range test shot of a playing card showed OK color reproduction but noticeable motion blur from unsteady hands, suggesting there’s no software stabilization. The phone has three rear lenses, though it’s unclear whether all of them are functional. The 2MP front camera is usable for basic tasks. A quick test shot of a keyboard showed that it tends to blur rather than get grainy in low light, which is preferable but still very limited. Voice calls are fine for a device this small, but the form factor creates unavoidable compromises. Either the earpiece or the microphone ends up farther from your ear or mouth than on a normal‑sized phone. When held properly, the microphone sounds good unless there’s wind or loud background noise. The phone does not support 5G cellular, which is unusual in 2026 even for budget devices. In my home I have two wifi networks that are labeled as 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz. I had no issue or internet speed issues from either of them, even through a shielded wall that gives other devices trouble. The paper manual claims it only supports 2.4GHz, that can be ignored. I didn't test Wi‑Fi calling as it requires an app and some setup with my carrier. Android reports 3GB of RAM, which is appropriate for a low‑frills or older‑style smartphone. The listing incorrectly claims 64GB of RAM, clearly confusing RAM with storage. Storage is 64GB, which is adequate for a burner phone or a child’s device. Out of the box, about 8.5GB is used by the system and preinstalled apps. After updates, usage rose to 10.25GB. There's not a lot of extra "bloatware" apps. Uninstalling several social media apps brought it back down to 9.5GB. The hybrid SIM slot allows either: - Two SIM cards, or - One SIM + a microSD card (up to 128GB) Using a microSD card turns this into a surprisingly capable portable music player even if you never intend to use it as a phone. The phone runs Android 10, which is quite dated. It did download security updates, but it should not be expected to receive major OS upgrades. The phone feels solid and durable, and it comes with a screen protector and a silicone wrap. With the wrap installed, some USB‑C cables are too large to fit through the cutout. Both the back of the phone and the manual warn users to only use the included charging cable. This is unnecessary and patronizing. Either it’s standard USB‑C or it isn’t, and insisting on OEM cables deserves to be called out. The compact 4.5" size is the main selling point. It’s genuinely pocketable and easy to carry. The orange color is distinctive and easy to spot. As a burner, travel phone, or kid’s first smartphone, the value is solid. As a primary device, the outdated OS, limited cameras, and missing 5G cellular make it too constrained. For illustration: The back of the playing card photo was taken with the rear camera. The keyboard photo was taken with the front camera. ... show more

  • Cute and Compact, But Definitely Made For Children
I picked up this 4.5" Mini Phone 64GB Unlocked 4G smartphone mainly out of curiosity, and it’s honestly a fun little device — but you need to know what you’re getting. First, the design is surprisingly nice. It looks very similar to an iPhone 17–style design, but it runs on Android OS. It’s tiny and lightweight, which makes it easy to carry around. It also comes with a clear phone case, which is a nice bonus. However, the included USB-C charging cable is very short, and there’s no charger brick included. One thing that disappointed me: although the phone has three camera lenses on the back, only one actually works. The other two are just dummy lenses for appearance. The working camera is very basic — you can take photos and videos, but there are no manual controls for shutter speed, ISO, or aperture. It’s strictly point-and-shoot. Because of the small 4.5" screen, typing can be challenging for adults. The keyboard layout appears very small, and entering passwords with adult-sized fingers takes patience. I can definitely see this being much better suited for kids or as a very basic secondary phone. It does come with Google Play, Facebook, and WhatsApp preinstalled, which makes setup easy. Overall, this feels like a novelty mini phone or a starter phone for children rather than a full-featured smartphone for adults. It works, but expectations should be realistic. ... show more
