PROS: Great price. The pump works well. CONS: 1. THERE IS NO BLEED VALVE FOR THIS MODEL OR KIT. - I bled excess air through the high pressure valve on the manifold. 2. THE REFRIGERANT CHARGE VALVE SUCKS. - The rubber seal inside the charge valve (the valve that screws onto the refirgerant bottle) is JUNK. I had to remove the rubber seal inside the puncture valve to be able to screw the refrigerant bottle on really tight to seal, then were I able to release refrigerant and charge the system. The rubber seal is too thick and also falls apart and may clog the charge line. 3. THE INSTRUCTIONS SUCK AND CALLS TO CHARGE THE HIGH PRESSURE LINE. DO NOT DO THIS! YOU SHOULD CHARGE ON THE LOW PRESSURE SIDE. ... show more

    • Inaccurate gauges
I was able to use the manifold to install some Freon in my system, but the on-off valves on the high side and the low side. We’re not very smooth and operation and did not seem to close properly. The quick disconnects don’t clip on very well and actually leaked some Freon, the neural fittings on the hoses that you attach to the manifold need to be much tighter than you can do them with your finger so a tool would probably be recommended. I did not do that cause I didn’t want to destroy the brass. The GAUGES stuck in the pressure that they were last used once the system stabilized and I closed and opened the appropriate valve to allow it to bleed off the gauge state and its previous setting so in conclusion, I never got a chance to use the evacuation pump. I would not recommend this product. It’s very lightweight and in my opinion poorly made even for the money. ... show more
