The track mounts fit into my Vibe kayak tracks nicely. They couldn’t slide past the mounting screws of the tracks but you just fit them in at the point of usage. Appears strong, tightens well.     • Rail Mounts may need to be filed down to fit...
The product is good quality but one thing to watch out for is the rounded piece that goes into your rail. On the rail I tried to install it on, it would not fit because it was too wide. I had to manually file down two of the pieces until they slid into the rail system without having to force them. Not that big of a deal but definitely an inconvenience. At least I can say that the stainless steel pieces are indeed stainless because when I filed them down, the metal stayed consistent. ... show more

Had to grind down the threaded slider piece slightly so it would fit in my rail system. No bigge, nice product overall

    • Rail flat piece probably needs grinding
If have old town kayak of any kind with rail system then be prepared to grind metal on each side for it to fit in rail. Looks like good quality stainless. The threads will not need to be cut so that’s a positive. I use these to hold my portable fish finder on using velcro and ball bungee.

I had to use a few more washers in order to create some height so the screws weren’t digging into my yak, but once I did that, it’s been smooth sailing.
