Works as described making it easier to point the camera to the exact location wanted, BUT it's size makes the camera stand out and more visible if you wanted to keep it less noticeable to uninvited guests. Also just discovered yesterday that the solid case back muffles the SIREN ALARM AND SPEAKER GREATLY. They should have made opening holes in the back and covered with a thin cellophane sheet or something else to keep it weather resistant. Looking at the case now for a fix, I will try to drill some small holes in the back, but the mounting metal part and plastic connector is exactly where the siren / speaker is on the already weather resistant camera. Might just be better to spend the extra time to line up the already weather resistant camera without these mounts or just but the mounts without the housings. ... show more

I liked the use of this product to hang my cameras so they could be well angled. Great while it lasted, however I went to change the battery and the metal screw broke off into the back of the plastic holder so it can’t go back up.
