I used this to attach some rubber sheeting to the inside of the fenders on my race car as rock protection (the rock impacts on the inside of the fenders were cracking or blowing out the gelcoat on the outside of the fenders). I sprayed the 3M adhesive on the rubber sheet and also on the fiberglass, let it sit for a few minutes, and then laid the rubber sheet onto the fiberglass. I got this glue to do my own 1/25th slot car tire donuts after following "Cleve" ( tech tips ) on Utube. Works great and I can't imagine I'd use it all up for my purposes.

I needed a strong and fast-setting spray adhesive to re-glue the vinyl in my car. I'd done this many years before but forgot which glue I used. Although very expensive, 3M 80 did not work for this purpose. This glue was neither strong nor fast-setting, as a result the vinyl still separated after 2 days of drying and holding in place. I contacted 3M customer support and was told this glue was not for use in a "vehicle." Ahh!!! I finally had to get a different glue at 1/3 the cost and it worked just fine. What a big disappointment! I'm disappointed in Amazon too for not refunding an item that they sold that was misrepresented. ... show more

Very strong sticky spray. I just sprayed on the surface i needed to attach the rubber, then sprayed the rubber... Stick them together and they bonded quickly. I applied some pressure to make sure, and it is holding great!!
