I've tried three wraps for small projects on my vehicles, and the 3M 2080 M22 is the easiest to work with. The toughest parts of wrapping emblems are the curves and indentations - the 3M wrap with a good heat gun and pressure works great. Note: sometimes a squeegee will not work on small areas. That is when I use an exam glove and a finger or the head of a small finish nail. I'd buy this wrap again :)

I've tried a few other brands and there's no comparison. The 3M 1080 and 2080 is the best there is! It is easy to work with, super pliable, and easy to adjust if you don't get it right the first time you lay it down. I bought the matte black and used it to wrap some interior trim pieces on my car that were originally equipped with a soft touch coating. Over time that soft touch coating gets scratched and peels off. This vinyl was the perfect replacement, with my car interior looking as good as it did when I drove it off the dealer lot.

The material is so easy to work with. It’s flexible and can be repositioned, a few times in my case. I ordered a small piece 12x12 inch to put on a cane I use that is painted with textured black paint. Not sure it would adhere but it did and very well. I chose the matte indigo. It is almost black indoors and A beautiful deep dark blue outside. Very happy the seller offers a small amount to buy.

This product is so easy and forgiving to use. Measuring and cutting were easy. It sticks but allows for repositioning if you need to make adjustments. We put in on the outside of a vehicle so you can imagine the forces of nature it contends with. It has been through the car wash 4 times, driven in a snow storm and has sat in the hot sun for several hours. It still looks like the day we put it on a month ago!

This is my first experience with any vinyl wrapping. After watching a few videos on the topic I decided to give the 3M #2080 vinyl a try. I used it to wrap an instrument panel on my ultralight aircraft which is basically a flat piece of aluminum with a multitude of holes in it. To my surprise, I got a very nice end result. I found the product to be very forgiving(lifting it up and repositioning it many times to reduce the amount of wrinkles). It's very flexible and has the right amount of 'stickiness'. It's also rather strong as I noticed a surprising amount of resistance when using my X-acto knife to cut out the instrument holes. I would remind anyone using this product to have a CLEAN work area as well as the object to be wrapped. Lint free gloves might also be a good idea.

Great vinyl but arrived crushed, creased, kinked, and unusable. There is no cardboard tube core in the center of the vinyl roll and it shipped in a paper shipping pouch, so it was badly damaged in shipping. Ordered a replacement and it arrived the same way as the first one.
