Description

3M 2080 Series Gloss Black vinyl is a dual cast film specifically designed for vehicle application to provide dimensional stability and durability without the need for an overlaminate. The pressure-activated adhesive allows you to slide and reposition the film over the surface of the vehicle until you apply firm pressure. 3M 2080 is available in 60in (5 ft) widths making it possible to wrap virtually any section of a vehicle without seams. The non-visible air release channels assure a fast, easy and virtually bubble-free installation when professionally installed. Saving valuable installation time.

I bought this vinyl to wrap the chrome bumpers on my truck. There was a bit of a learning curve but the vinyl was user friendly for the most part. 3M wrap was terrible. The product looked looked like orange peel. I was getting it professional installed. Surface was prepped correctly and was laying down how it was supposed to. The pr wrap was just bad. I had to pay the installer to re do the whole thing again. Complete waste of money. I still have pieces that were not used, if you want me to send it back to inspect.     • HOLY JESUS. Don’t roll gloss too tightly!
It came rolled up very tightly. Which, for gloss isn’t s good thing. It was basically ruined right out of the box. The entire sheet was scratched and scuffed beyond the vinyls self sealing capabilities. Tried to return it but the box had gone missing so I missed out.

This product was absolute trash. It’s super old film and hasn’t been stored properly. As soon as I tried to apply it the film cracked and broke like plastic. I’ve used 3M for years and this was by far the worst experience. Complete waste of my money
