3M Wrap Film Series 2080 G10 Gloss White is a durable, high-quality product that lets you express your creativity and bring your vision to life. New features, better conformability, and easier installation. All gloss films now come with a Protective Film Layer which helps reduce surface impressions. This layer can stay on during the entire installation. This dual cast film is specifically designed for vehicle applications to provide dimensional stability and durability without the need for an overlaminate. The pressure- activated adhesive allows you to slide and reposition the film over the surface of the vehicle until you apply firm pressure. 3M 2080 is available in 60in (5 ft) widths making it possible to wrap virtually any section of a vehicle without seams. The non-visible air release channels assure a fast, easy and virtually bubble-free installation when professionally installed. Saving valuable installation time. It is installed dry and can be re lifted, repositioned and stretched.

Did my front and rear bumper and also my grill and side mirrors. It's not a identical white to GM white (summit I think its color) but you cant tell hardly at all unless you really really pay attention to it. Love it.

in this review I’m going to talk about this vinyl brand vs more expensive stuff from the view point of a self taught novice vinyl wrapper and some tips and insight I’ve learned. Backstory: So I’ve done two small motorcycles and 2 helmets and from a beginner stand point if you want to wrap something for the first time I say do it and don’t be scared to. You’ll probably mess up or get close to but that’s all right it’s very easily fixable with a small amount of heat using a heat gun. Material: I’ve wrapped my first bike and helmet using a more expensive wrap from metro restyling and that was very forgiving and had little to absolutely no bubbles or winkles. I bought this wrap on amazon for my second motorcycle and helmet wrap and it wasn’t too bad it wasn’t as stretchy as the metro one and there is some small winkles and It’s pretty prone to peel on the edges after awhile but overall it is good wrap for the money!! I would recommend metro first or if you wanna save a few bucks I’d recommend this second! Tips: I can not stress this enough though, BUY AN ACTUAL HEAT GUN it's extremely worth it because other people have tried using hairdryers on high heat so I tried it myself one time and it takes a painfully long amount of time to heat the vinyl. it is by far worth spending the extra money to get a proper heat gun just do NOT heat up the vinyl too much it doesn’t need much heat to stretch or retract etc. also be very mindful of stretching your vinyl because it can stretch a little too much and it looks thin and faded and be extra mindful on your edges especially if you do multiple vinyls on one piece using knifeless tape because it’s very thick vinyl so if you dont layer it right you'll see the seam. ... show more

This overall was good quality material. It sticks to surfaces well and with a little water and baby soap you can give yourself some extra work time before it sticks. We got this to wrap our kitchen cabinets as an experiment vs. painting them, which itself is an experiment if we can make that good enough to skip a larger remodel. The material worked well and was relatively easy to work with on the the larger surfaces such as the sides. It was also reasonable for the front facing door surrounds. Where we struggled was with the door panes where the routed edges of the decorative frame were hard to work with. I think I will need more time at YouTube University before I try another door. ... show more

As you can see in pictures, I had a small Vornado heater/fan that had been splashed with bathroom chemicals and permanently stained. Used this glossy white 3M Vinyl wrap to easily give the fan a uniform white glossy appearance. Huge improvement. 2 months later and it still looks great. Fan only gets warm to the touch (not hot) so wrap is unaffected. ... show more

We used this on the front of a 5th wheel at the top with a slight outward bulge. It was really hard to get it going, but once we got it figured out, it wasn't too bad. It would have been better to have 3 people because we were covering such a large surface. Because the surface wasn't flat we had quite a few bubbles, but the material is a little stretchy so it came up easily and we were able to get most of the bubbles out. I think it helped that it was a hot day so it was easier to stretch. It turned out really nice, but we will see how it weathers over the winter. We would definitely use it again ... show more

Make sure you buy 3M wrap!. I have bought cheaper brands only to send it back. 3M wrap is very stretchy and conforms well to all kinds of angels and can be lifted and smooth out several times and still sticks
