  • Great, but minimal Instructions.
I purchased this strap as the Canon necks straps you receive with the purchase of your camera just aren't comfortable, and I needed something longer, that didn't fall directly on my chest when I wasn't shooting. I bought this strap to use mainly for abandoned structure adventures, and traveling. I decided upon this strap because of the padding in the shoulder, the safety tether and the small pocket which fits two SD cards, and is perfect for lens cloth. I used this strap for the first time to shoot a friend's wedding this last week, and the night before my flight I decided to attach it to my camera, only to realize that the product doesn't come with attachment instructions, but there is an informative Youtube video available which is easy to follow. I switched between lenses for the majority of my wedding, between primes and zooms, and found that the strap was very accommodating to movement, different lens weights and the tether moves freely between the "locks" you set yourself on the strap. I will say, as someone who deals with chronic pain, that I am right handed and my left shoulder, despite the nice padding, was extra sore the next day, so that's something to keep in mind for others who may have chronic pain, and may prefer a harness type strap to spread the weight out. ... show more

  • Comfortable Camera Strap
I currently have 4 straps and this one is my favorite. Comfortable, easy to use. I like the fact I can use it with a hand strap.

  • The 1/4-20 threads may be too long for your camera
I haven't been in the habit of using a camera strap, but lately I have had cause to use both hands for posing or lighting, so I bought the goja strap. I like the single point connection and the sliding clip. I use this on my left shoulder over the strap on my Bevis Top shelf sling bag on my right shoulder and it works perfectly to allow me to let go of my camera and use the bag simultaneously. The only issue I have with this strap is the fact that the treads on the mounting screw were a touch long for the insert in my Fuji XT3. I've noticed that the smaller cameras have shallower 1/4-20 threads in them. My solution for this is to file the screw down a bit so that it threads all of the way into the camera. Make sure to thread a nut onto the screw before you file it so that the threads that are left will not be damaged. Over all the strap is made well and does the job goja says it does. ... show more

  • GREAT PRODUCT
It has been said that the harness moves around on the strap and never stays in place. That may have been the case when they first came out with this product but since then this harness has been sewn to the strap to keep it from slipping. As for the screw coming loose, the one attached to where the tripod goes I find the BEST way, for me at least, is to affix the metal plate so that when you are carrying the camera at your side this plate is oriented in line with the strap (straight up and down). When I say in-line I mean that the plate is pointing upwards in the same direction were it meets the hook. I find the strap to be a very comfortable fit and it is adustable to suit one's height. I am 5'5" and it works fine for me. As for the equipment I have. I carry a Sony A7RII with a Sony 24-70 f/2.8 GM lens. I find that the strap holds up rather nicely to it with no problems whatsoever. The plate could be attached to the tripod; however, it is somewhat cumbersome when hooking the camera up to a tripod unless you remove the strap first. When it comes to the safety strap I hook it to the camera itself rather than hooking it to the plate. That's just my preference just in case the screw on the plate does come off or the screw holding the the hook to the strap breaks this way the body of my camera will catch the camera keeping it from falling to the ground. It will work if you hook the safety strap to the plate itself but I feel safer hooking it to the camera body since I feel that, that is more trustworthy. My kit only came with one tether safety strap. As for the zipper compartment I find that a plus because with my camera I have to carry several back up batteries with me because Sony A7RII is not known for its battery life and rather than carry them in my pocket the strap makes a nice place for this. Also, because I have this zipper compartment I find that I do not need to carry a camera bag around with me since I keep the camera slug over my shoulder throughout all the time I am or am not taking photos. For the price you can't go wrong with this camera strap setup. I'm sure it has some flaws but I have yet to find anything that is terribly wrong for the price. In time I'm sure things will start going bump in the night but that is the same with anything you buy. If you want something to last considerably longer then you're going to pay for it but for the price of this strap it is worth taking the chance on it and, in my case, it has worked out thus far. One last thing. I find this strap my better than the sony strap that came with the camera. It not only makes taking picutres more enjoyable but feel more comfortable when carrying your camera/lens around all day taking pictures. I LOVE THIS STRAP. Like some of the others I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. Thank you. ... show more

  • Great product
Good length and easy to attach plate for the camera

  • comfortable, practical, works well.
Cameras tend to come with their osn strap. They work well, but when one has a longer/heavier lens one requires comfort. This is the case with this item. Easy to use and comfortable. Ideal for long walks where one neeeds the camera easily available.

  • Great!
Second one of these, work great. Very convenient. I do a couple of hacks to add extra security "just in case" but love these kinds of straps.
