Description

The 3G Cardio 80i Fold Flat Treadmill is a marvel in design, quality and feel and is an industry changing product to say the least. The ingenious design allows a user to not only fold the treadmill upright but also fold the treadmill flat to the floor and stored away under a bed. When folded flat to the floor, the 3G Cardio 80i Treadmill has an extremely low height of only 9. 75" . While many people still have the notion that a fold up treadmill is of lesser quality, the 3G Cardio 80i will permanently change anyone's perception! A Runner's Treadmill: Starting with a heavy duty 3. 0 HP motor, nearly a 60" running surface and the stability of a treadmill twice its price, the 3G Cardio 80i Treadmill will impress even the stingiest of runners. With a capability of reaching 11mph maximum speed and an intense 15% maximum incline, it would be very tough for someone to outwork this treadmill. Dual Folding Technology: With the all new 3G Cardio 80i Fold FlatTM Treadmill design, it is now possible to fold the treadmill flat and wheel it under a bed or shelf or simply through a doorway. While there are other folding treadmills on the market, none will match up in ease of use and overall quality. The 3G Cardio 80i Fold Flat Treadmill has an incredibly soft suspension and earns the award as the softest, best design walking/running treadmill on the market today.

  • Great treadmill, sturdy, convenient, excellent customer service
We purchased this treadmill two years ago. It has worked flawlessly until it powered up this morning. The buttons wouldn’t work. I contacted the company, left a message. I got a call back within 30 minutes. After some trouble shooting, it turned out to be my closet door was pressing the side button. Human error. Customer service was fast & thorough. Treadmill feels sturdy, is not too bulky, has all the functions I need. Best of all, no subscriptions. Great buy, would definitely recommend ... show more

  • Durable, low-profile, great machine!
We have had this treadmill for almost 4 years and recently needed a replacement safety key (we lost it— our fault!) The customer service experience was so great that I’m now writing to leave a review all this time later. The treadmill is a great machine. We needed a fairly low-profile machine for a small space, but one that could stand up to regular use by 2 adults and 2 teens. It’s been wonderful on all fronts! It’s good looking and sturdy. Its screen is simple to operate. We ended up using it as a walking desk during the pandemic too. And as I mentioned above, the customer service is excellent. Fully recommended!! ... show more

  • 3G Cardio 80i saved me!
Sometime in March in 2020 my body had sunk to a new low. My gym was closed and no one wanted to leave the protection of home. I was at least 30 pounds overweight and depressed. And then I discovered this machine. It came assembled, which means a lot for someone like me no skills. it's just what I was looking for. Also, it was affordable I bought one and never looked back. I started walking at night 2 miles and over time i picked up the pace, extended the distance and even starting adding inclines. Ive now lost 45 pounds. Even my young son has jumped into the mix. We have to settle each evening who goes first. first. It's a dream. If I were rich, I'd buy one for each of my friends. It folds up and takes up very little space. It's become something of an old reliable friend. ... show more

  • 3g 80i Foldable treadmill is definitely a solid purchase but...
So far I have owned this treadmill for 1 month since delivery and am quite pleased with it thus far. Upon Arrival- The treadmill came with a broken box upon delivery but the company that dropped it off inspected it prior to leaving and said that everything should be fine. There was basically little to no set-up required and with the space cleared out in the gym area of our home prior to arrival, this treadmill was up and ready to go in no time flat. The instructions were easy to follow with safety and maintenance care well explained. We also purchased a cover for it to protect our investment when not in use. Daily Use- I have used Programs 1 Warmup feature and Program 6 Rolling hills feature on two separate occasions with great workouts as a result. I've also done steady state cardio on manual mode often with training as often as 5 days a week. I felt that my strides on impact resulted in somewhat of a solid yet supportive footprint upon landing. My runs didn't have too much of a 'cushion' type of feel in comparison to some treadmills that I have used in my local gyms but it suits my needs nonetheless. The speaker on it is decent but nothing impressive when I use it for playing music. The audio output produces a little bit of distortion with sound feedback but I enjoy the capability of it regardless since this is the first purchase we made of a durable high-end treadmill. I can appreciate the feature of a built-in speaker which may be simple but an added bonus considering it's primary purpose. I understand that from all the research I've done prior to purchasing this is that 3g treadmills were meant for performance rather than for all the 'bells and whistles' or other comparable options in the market, which it does live up to so far. Also I read many reviews of the great customer service of 3g Cardio so that was another reason for my purchase of this considering the cost-to-benefit factor. Some issues as of recent- However, about a week and a half ago, the treadmill belt started producing a noticeable whining noise that resembles a squeaky whistle during use. It becomes slightly loud during speeds past 6.0 miles/hour. It continues to release this squeak at slower speeds as well but I notice it goes away during incline walking or jobs. I tend to walk/jog/run with my legs closer to the machine console to access my tablet that I keep plugged into the aux cable to listen to music on YouTube, so that could potentially be a reason for the squeaking because when I drift back toward the middle part of the belt it sort of a goes away. I will contact 3g Cardio soon to troubleshoot/resolve this issue because I enjoy using it 4-5 times weekly and it has become a staple in our home, ensuring good overall health. Lastly, I will submit a follow-on update regarding this issue and also continue to provide feedback with use over a significant period of time. ... show more

  • False advertising: there is not a 15% incline (confirmed by owner of 3G Cardio)
Summary: The 3G CARDIO 80i Fold Flat treadmill does NOT have a 15% incline, as advertised. The owner of the company has now confirmed to me in writing that this is true. Review: I spent some time shopping for a treadmill, ultimately deciding that I wanted one that (a) folds up, (b) folds flat, and (c) provides the maximum incline available—which I thought was 15% incline—more about that later. The 3G Cardio 80i Fold Flat seemed to have these features. I have used the treadmill now for nearly two months. There was one electronic issue after a few weeks of use: the controls stopped working. I contacted the manufacturer, and the Service Manager promptly sent a new console—the piece between the handles that has buttons and the display—plus instructions on how to replace it, free of charge. I replaced the console, and the replacement part works fine so far. (They offered to send a service person for the job, but I wanted it fixed quickly, plus we were Covid isolating then in our house.) I don’t use the heart rate monitor, the audio speakers, or the preset programs, so this review does not assess those features. During use, the treadmill is solid, fairly quiet, and I am happy with the general operation, except for the incline. Every day I use the treadmill at the maximum incline, and I wish the incline would go steeper. So, I checked the percent incline. Percent incline is defined as rise/run x 100. I choose two points along the side of the treadmill deck at the same vertical position and increased the incline to the maximum position. (Note that there is a number “15” on the display panel beside the word "Incline" at this position, and that number changes from 0 to 15 when the incline is increased.) In the maximum position, I measured the difference in height of the two points above the floor (rise) and the distance between the two points along the floor (run). (For the points I chose, the measurements were: rise =11.9 cm, run =128.4 cm.) I calculated a 9% incline. I emailed the company about the incline not actually being 15%, and the owner replied that I was correct about the incline. But then he wrote, “So you are correct that our treadmill is really about 8 degrees.” Wait, degrees? All of the treadmill advertising for this unit and others uses "percent incline," not "degrees." I looked up the conversion from degrees to percent incline, and “8 degrees” converts to about a 14% incline. So, this statement from the owner is clearly not true because, as I measured, this unit only goes to 9% incline (which converts to about 5 degrees). I’m not sure what the owner was saying, and I tried to get clarification with a few more emails without success. * Update: The owner replied to me after I shared a draft of this review. He said, "You are 100% correct with your equation and I do not disagree with your numbers." I consider the 9% actual incline substantially less than the advertised 15% incline. While this difference may seem small, it is actually substantial when you are using the treadmill. I purchased the unit based on the advertised 15% incline, and so I consider the claims and specifications to be false advertising. I believe that Amazon and 3G Cardio should correct their statements about this unit. Further, 3G Cardio should examine the claims v. actual incline for all their other models. Likewise, the claims of other treadmill companies should be examined for accuracy. In summary, this seems to be a solid treadmill, and the company sent me a free replacement part when the original electronics went bad. The biggest negative for me is that the treadmill does not actually tilt to 15% incline as advertised. Due to the false advertising, and the company's failure to correct the situation, I rate this product one star. ... show more

  • Great Quality and Great Customer Service!
This is a terrific treadmill. Easy to use and Easy to store. Customer Service is always there for you to help answer any question and here are two key things to consider. IF you have to leave a message, they call you back and guess what? THEY SPEAK ENGLISH! You will not be talking to India etc. Seriously, we had one minor issue that we needed a replacement part for after FIVE years and it shipped out that day. Their Customer Service is top notch and in today's world that is extremely difficult to come by. If you are considering buying a treadmill, just do it. It is really is a great, well made treadmill. ... show more

  • Great treadmill, Great company
Long review but here’s the punchline: in this total techie age, I have never received such extraordinary customer service. Oh, and it's a great treadmill, too! The 80i "fold flat" is my third treadmill. My first treadmill was from Sears, it was pretty good and I used it about five years. My second was from a high end store here in Sacramento, specializing in fitness equipment. Nine years. Both served me well but the last one didn't fold and I'm in a small place now. So I did all of my usual research, looked at various fitness equipment websites, read reviews, ratings, pros, cons. Also checked Consumer Reports just to even everything out. I zeroed in on the 80i because it looked like the best combination of folding for storage plus solid build plus quality. I called 3G Cardio in mid to late December and spoke with Bryan. He was really nice and it was tempting to just buy the treadmill then. I had reservations about not being able to see/try before I bought, and even though there's a guarantee, I thought it would be better to buy locally. So I did my due diligence and went back to the fitness equipment store where I bought my last treadmill. They had something called a SpaceWalker, small, compact, but doesn't go above 4 mph and the belt (running surface) was barely three feet. Nice, but not what I was looking for. The store carries a few brands in stock, but even then they don't have every model on the floor to try before you buy. Went back to the computer, Went back to the store, Spoke with Bryan at 3G Cardio some more, and decided to go for it. Did not realize that when Amazon offers "white glove" shipping for an extra charge, it doesn't use the same company that ships the treadmill. The 80i comes fully assembled so all I needed was someone (or two people, really) to carry the treadmill up a big flight of stairs to my second floor flat. The shipping company wouldn't do it. The "white glove" company wouldn't do it. I'm not sure how many times I spoke with Bryan but I am so grateful for what 3G Cardio did. They intervened, arranged for a company they use for "white glove" service to pick up the treadmill from the shipping company and then bring it to my house. And up that big flight of stairs. It does come fully assembled but Richard and Dominick went through everything with me, tested all the functions (incline, speed, ran the motor awhile to make sure there were no funny sounds, etc.). By the time they left, I was able to test the machine out myself and the deck was really comfortable. Probably my biggest worry about buying from a company that doesn't have a tester. The 80i has a really good guarantee, but still, that was the ultimate test. I’ve been using the treadmill for about a week and it’s great!!!! ... show more

  • Easy setup and use, plus great customer service from manufacturer
We purchased this treadmill to exercise at home during the winter / inclement weather, and because it came fully assembled. One of the arm locking mechanisms was jammed, probably during the shipping process. I called 3G Cardio and immediately a person answered; through asking questions and my texting photos, he deduced the issue. I was finally able to rotate the mechanism with difficulty and use the treadmill safely, but it did require repair for full functionality. After I texted a screenshot of my invoice for proof of purchase to activate the warranty, the 3G rep mailed a replacement that arrived in two days, and also arranged with a local fitness equipment repair business to contact me. When the repair tech came, they had a bit of difficulty removing the faulty part so I provided the number of the 3G rep, who gave specific pointers. Result: the locking mechanism is fixed and the treadmill works as described. I've seldom had such excellent customer service, and I can't recommend this treadmill or 3G Cardio enough. ... show more
