  • Great stroller, even for larger/older kids
Awesome stroller. I bought two of these for our recent disneyworld vacation. One was for my 45 pound 5 year old and one for my 53 pound 7 year old (47 inches tall). Both fit really well in this stroller. Sure my 7 year old's knees were a bit higher than my 5 year old or a smaller child, but he was still very comfortable. There was no way both my kids were going to be able to walk as much as we did over the week and I was so glad we got these. Easy to put together, no tools required. Although my husband did put the front wheels of one of them on upside down. It made it a little harder to turn, but we didn't realize he had done it until halfway through the week, so we just left it. They fold very easily, and the carry strap is great. Very lightweight and good quality. Everything held up great. Also very easy to push even with that much weight in it. You do need 2 hands though. Being able to give the cupholder to either myself or my child was also awesome. I want to look at see if I can purchase a second cup holder so we each have one. Although you cannot lock the folded stroller with the cup holder in the child position as that knob is where the little clamp attaches, so we had to take it off every time we needed to fold it, but that wasn't such a big deal. The baskets underneath are not huge, but they did the job of holding what we needed it too. The pocket on the shade was perfect to hold the rain cover we bought or other small items. The only complaint my oldest had was that he wished the sun shade was just a little bit bigger so that more of his legs were shaded, but his face/head/arms stayed shaded. Overall, very happy with the purchase. ... show more

  • Unexpected win and perfect for amusement parks
I bought this to visit the Mouseland in Anaheim because I didn't want to deal with our regular "proper" stroller on the plane. This was cheaper than renting a normal stroller, seemed like a better idea than the strollers the park rents, and wouldn't make my wallet cry if someone stole it. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and ease of use with this. It held up all day, both kids enjoyed sitting in it (at different times), it was lightweight, easy to get on and off trams/trolleys, and generally seamless. There is a learning curve for folding it, but once you remember the instructions, it works fine. There were only two cons: (1) the underseat storage is tiny and barely fit a regular size backpack (in fairness this is probably true of all travel type strollers) (2) it tends to tip backwards if you hang a bag off the back handles, and your kid jumps out of the seat. I wouldn't be concerned about them tipping it backwards/falling backwards, but if they jumped out unexpectedly, it had a tendency to tip back before someone grabbed it. Not a safety issue, just annoying. ... show more

  • Good for taller children
I don't normally write reviews, but this stroller is a must for parents with long legged kids. My son is on the taller side and I must say he liked the stroller. His opinion was that he didn't feel squished in it, and that he was very comfortable. We used this on our vacation. We put it through the ringer with long walks on different terrain and it sustained very well. As far as anything to complain about maybe the storage at the bottom. If your looking to put a lot stuff on lower basket it won't fit much. Definitely enough space for a light jacket or a few water bottles. Which is what we used it for. I don't know if this stroller is good for younger toddlers, but definitely a good fit for an older child or taller child in general. Pros: It folds easily and handles and steers well. Assembly was easy, and its compact and lightweight. Will fit in your vehicle and not take up the whole space. I have a mobile scooter I use when we travel, and there was still space between the two items in the trunk for a bag or two. Cons: If you want storage this stroller isn't for you. This stroller is meant for parents that need to do a quick errand or that are traveling and don't want their child walking a lot. ... show more

  • Excellent Supplemental Stroller
The media could not be loaded. My wife and I ordered this "Summer Infant 3D Lite Convenience Stroller" for two trips we are making with our son. He's about 25-30bs and 8 months right now. We have one of those convertible jogger strollers for our main stroller. You can mount the child in the car seat forward-facing or rearward-facing, and you can use a larger secondary seat as they grow. I can't say enough good things about jogger strollers. The larger-diameter air-filled wheels and the versatility is just unmatched, and I would suggest that any new parent strongly consider one as their main stroller. This "convenience stroller" or "travel stroller" is good, but there are compromises. As my video shows, the front wheels have a lot of play on surfaces with any dirt, gravel, or rocks. The video doesn't really show it, but when I tested the stroller out, my son was bouncing around a lot inside the stroller as we went over some pretty normal surfaces. And the small diameter combined with the firmness mean that gaps and cracks in roads or sidewalks will be much more jarring than with larger air-filled wheels. I would say the ride is less Cadillac and more Mini Cooper. The stroller folds up, but it's not as short as I thought it'd be (or like). It looks like it will barely fit into older overhead bins on airplanes. Many of the new overhead bins aren't quite as long, so that concerns me. However, the stroller is long folded for good reason: It makes it much easier to open and close. The stroller is also very light. I found that handy because I could simply pick up my son in the stroller to carry him up and down stairs or over rough terrain. One last complaint: I found the straps didn't have as much versatility as I'd like. I'll play with them some more, but out of the box the straps lacked adjustability to make my son comfortable. I haven't owned to product long-enough to speak to durability, but it looks pretty solid to me. For under one hundred bucks, this is a good investment and I'm happy with the purchase. However, again, I'd recommend families be cautious about considering this a main stroller. It's mainly for travel and smoother surfaces. ... show more
