These grips are very at being close to the real thing. I have installed hundreds of grips and something about these grips when I received them just felt off. I typically order the grips from the golf pride website but for shipping speed purposes I decided to go with the ones at Amazon because they needed to get to me ASAP. I was unsure as to why but the grips didn’t feel right. After letting them dry for about 30 hours I gave them a good wash with a brush to not only remove the solvent but to rough em up a little bit. When I was washing the grips I noticed the ink starting to run off the grip which has never happened before so I was puzzled but no harm done. However I ended up having my lie angles adjusted and over time I had noticed things that seemed sub par to golf pride standards for the grips. There was smooth portions of the grips, bleeding ink etc. When I handed the clubs over to a pro I trust he took one look at the grips and instantly knew they were fake and once I saw a real golf pride grip direct from a factory it made sense. The club builder later elaborated that he has seen this issue in several people’s grips. Some grips that are fake have been bought from brand chain stores such as Dicks, scheelz etc. The pictures above will illustrate what I’m talking about. The grip on the right are grips ordered from Amazon that are not genuine grips. The grip on the left came directly from golf pride. There are GLARING differences in the ink, cord pattern, and the feeling of the grip as well. For a difference of $0.20 per grip, don’t waste your money and just buy directly from golf pride. ... show more

Comfort: 3/5 Feedback: 4/5 Durability: 5/5 Wet Grip: 4/5 Don't get me wrong--this is a nice grip--it's just not my favorite. To begin with it's one of the coolest looking grips out there. If you have these on your sticks, it's a clear sign that you know something about good golf equipment. It also comes in a wide array of colors, which is nice. As far as comfort goes, the lower hand gets a 4/5 for some nice, soft rubber. The upper gets 2/5 for the rough cord that helps with moisture management. Feedback is good, as is durability. Your upper hand will not slip when wet, but the lower might. In this area, it's better than the new Plus4. Ultimately, the harsh cord portion and the slight lower hand slipping are just sub-optimal enough to make this my #2 grip. I also wish it were available in oversize. ... show more
