I picked this up for my nephew's birthday since he's been asking to try VR without committing to a full standalone headset, and honestly it exceeded my expectations for the price. His iPhone 13 slid in easily, and the FD/OD adjustment wheels actually made a noticeable difference in getting the picture to focus properly - no blurry edges once I dialed it in. The field of view feels wide enough that you genuinely forget you're staring at a phone screen a few inches from your face, and simple 3D videos and mobile games looked surprisingly immersive for something in this price range. Comfort-wise, it's better than I anticipated. The adjustable head strap distributes weight reasonably well so it doesn't feel like it's all pressing on your face, and the padded nose piece kept it from digging in during longer sessions. That said, after about 30-40 minutes I did notice some warmth building up around the eyes, which seems to be a common tradeoff with foam-padded VR headsets in general rather than something specific to this one. Setup was straightforward too - centering the phone and adjusting pupil distance took maybe two minutes once I got the hang of it, and the phone stays secure even when tilting your head around. I remember when I was a kid, I tried a Sega VR game at Sega World. At that time, there was a barrier on your sides to prevent you from moving off the stage. It was ancient, and the headset was heavy. My neck felt very sore after playing for a couple of games. So my impression of VR or 3D headsets was not pleasant, because of the neck pain. Nowadays, 3D VR headsets are handy and available almost everywhere. You insert your cell phone into the slot and can play or watch until the battery drains. Therefore, when I choose a 3D VR headset, I first look at the weight. This headset is light, weighing less than 10 oz. After inserting the cell phone into the slot and wearing it for an hour, it doesn't feel uncomfortable on the neck. I like the adjustment buttons at the bottom, which let you adjust the clarity for both the left and right lenses. While a paper VR headset costs about $10, this one is definitely a great step up. I do recommend it for fun. One note for iPhone users: if you want to pair your phone with a Bluetooth controller to play games, it may not be compatible due to iOS limitations. This has nothing to do with your Bluetooth controller or this headset. With an Android phone instead, you will have more control.

I have an older VR Headset to use with my iPhone 15 Pro but I've never been all that happy with. It's heavy and not very comfortable. It uses a tray that you slide in to hold the iphone. With newer phones that are bigger it doesn't work that well. The buttons get pushed when they shouldn't and it gets stuck on the protruding cameras. I was hoping this might be a nice upgrade. This is a lot lighter than my old one. The straps are comfortable and adjust better. The foam is softer and the goggles fit my face better and don't feel like they're digging into my face. It's easy to mount and un-mount my phone. The buttons don't get pressed accidentally. My only complaint is that you just have to kind of guess if it's level and positioned right. Has all the controls for focus (each eye independently) and interocular. They're easy to adjust and do what they're supposed to. The optics are nice and bright and clear. Overall I really like this. Definitely better than the one I used to have.

I ordered the Mryzzsf VR headset for a 10-year-old boy, and he thinks it is the coolest thing. He loves being able to place his cell phone inside the headset to watch videos and experience everything in virtual reality.
