I bought it for my daughter, and she loves it. My son was jealous. It is a good size, gets bright, and has nice colors. The battery will die quickly if you are tossing it around like a toy and changing colors often or have it strobing. It can last through the night, but not on the brightest setting. It only has a USB plug so make sure you have a plug for that or the outlet has USB. ... show more

Bought this Moon Lamp as a gift for a grand child. I love the ability to flip between colors and brightness, but I would be careful when bumping it. I only note this as if you touch it a bit too roughly.....the light turns on. I was repacking it to prepare it for wrapping and it kept turning on. My fear is that it will turn on by itself in the box and battery will be dead once opened as a gift. Otherwise.....smart, neat, colorful and great gist idea for the child that has everything. ... show more

I love this light! It was so easy my 9 year old plugged it in to charge and got it all set up before I even know it was delivered. I love the way you can personalize the light colors with the remote. He now wants to get one for birthday presents for his friends.

The media could not be loaded. It is easy to charge, and you can see the change in color. The range is also good you could be across the room to turn it on and off. You can also easily see the change in brightness. If you do have multiple in one room, one remote changes all of the colors.

This was a Christmas gift for my senior-citizen hubby (I am, too, but he's a lot older). He is hard to shop for because he doesn't want anything, and he doesn't read as much as he used to, so his pile of unread books does not need yet another. But he likes space things: rockets, stars, nebulae, space travel. (He's a Star Trek fan, and still talks about how his ex-wife worked for NASA down in Huntsville, Alabama.) I was just wandering around Amazon and found this, and I took a chance. He LOVES it! It took the two of us a bit of time to figure out the remote, and how to charge it, but we got it. He still hasn't figured out the timer, but he turns off everything when he leaves his home office anyway, so this is not an issue. He loves all of the different colors, and switches colors every day. This was a unique gift that he really liked, so if you don't know what to get for your person who likes space science, but doesn't need anything, this might be the thing. I don't know if it is breakable; our grandkids live out of state, and the cats have left it alone, so we don't know if it will break easily or not. It's just really cool. This was a Christmas gift, as noted above. By March, it had stopped working. No one likes to give a gift that stops working in a couple of months. Hubby does not complain, but I will. ... show more
