If you have sensitive feet or a foot problem like I do with my neuropathy my foot is in a lot of pain normally standing on the hard floor of the shower tub. This shower mat is so comfortable that it feels like you are standing on a thick cushion. There is a problem with the suction cups though coming off after a while, the suction cups brcome loose because they’re sewn on and the thread starts to come loose when you pull the mat off from the tub floor, so what I ended up having to do was I put gorilla glue on the bottom of each suction cup so that the suction cups don’t start falling off . This is one issue that needs to be fixed on this metal. Otherwise I would say it is a perfect Matt If you do purchase this shower mat I would recommend putting some gorilla glue on the bottom of the suction cups right after you get the shower mat; otherwise, most likely the suction cups will start to fall off and it’s a lot harder to glue them on when they start to hang off from the thread That is really the only issue with this shower mat otherwise, I would say it is the best shower met I ever had, because it does have great suction and it’s super comfortable. Unlike the gorilla shower mat I ordered said it was comfortable on the description, but it really was not comfortable. It was like standing on top of her the regular shower floor. Even with the problem of the 1 of the suction cups coming loose and having to put gorilla glue on all the suction cups to prevent the other suction cup from coming loose. It’s a great met and I would definitely re-purchase this shower mat again; however, like I said, I would automatically put the gorilla glue on them as soon as I received the mat. ... show more

When I first unpacked it, and first used, it was great. soft, stayed in place, no lying on the hard tub floor, had a nice 10 minute soak, Next bath however, i could feel the outline of every suction cup pressing into my legs, tushie and back. The mat did not stay in place, kind of scrunchied up and down. Then, after I rinsed it and went to hang it up, no hook. I had to drape it over a towel bar (the only bar in the tub), losing valuable storage space. Also, 1 suction cup has already detached from the mat. I often have excruciating pain and sensitivity on the bottom of my feet making standing in a shower difficult. I've gone through many different shower mats trying to find one that would provide enough cushion, where I wouldn't feel the suction cups (adding to the pain), that gripped and didn't slide, and didn't easily become moldy or gather mildew. We bought this for our special needs son as he is recovering from tail bone removal surgery and we didn’t want it rubbing in the textured tub bottom. The mat is pretty small and so very itchy to lay in he gets a red rash each time we use and I tried it myself and it’s not soft like it appears.
