Vanilla Lavender Diffuser (purple flowers): I think we’ve all seen *those* generic products that are either too plain or are trying way too hard. They end up looking cheap and:or cheesy. This reed diffuser has managed to come up with a simple “brand” and font style that seems like it could be high end. It reminds me of home decor I’ve seen at s a k s. The flowers and eucalyptus with the reed diffusers is a really nice addition. These two items elevate the look of the simple reed diffuser without being overbearing or cheesy. I’m absolutely not above filling but with water when the scent is gone. It’s just this simple thing that adds a pop of sweet decor to your space. I absolutely love the purple flowers and fake eucalyptus included. As advertised the eucalyptus is plastic. But strangely, it feels like the flowers are as well. Other reviews wax poetic about the “real” baby’s breath included. I don’t know that we got the sane product! Don’t get me wrong, I don’t care in this case. Plastic or not it looks cute. I’d actually probably prefer that it were plastic for longevity. In any case, the stems seem to be plastic but the “flowers” are kind of soft. Maybe whatever they dyed it with created a plasticine feel on the stem. Putting together the diffuser is fairly quick and easy. It was kind of annoying that the instructions did not mention the glass tube. I had no idea what it was for! Not until I perused the online description again did I see that the flowers were meant to go in there. Just 10 minutes later the stems had already tinted the water. Use the vial. Additionally, it says you can use as few or as many reeds as you want to customize scent level. I only used two at first. The arrangement felt wobbly and didn’t look nearly as good as in the pictures. Not until I added the remaining reeds did I realize they all needed to be in there to hold up the flowers properly and tie the look together. The last thing I want to go over is the scent itself. I’m in a particularly strange position as I’m really sensitive to scents YET I rarely have a sense of smell (thanks allergies). All I know is lavender vanilla is usually a winner for me. In any case, while I couldn’t smell the product, I did get a wicked headache with just two reeds in the diffuser. It went away when I moved it to another room. This is my warning to people who are sensitive. It’s stronger than others have let on. If you’re sensitive I wouldn’t recommend putting it in a smaller room especially a bedroom if you’re spending any amount of time in there! I’ve moved it to my bathroom and am hopeful there won’t be any more issues! TL:DR; Beautiful reed diffuser with flowers and eucalyptus. Looks high end. Even with just two it’s too strong for me, if you’re sensitive it’s probably best in a larger room or somewhere you’re not spending a lot of time. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, I really did not enjoy this item. Scents are subjective, I got Vanilla and Sandalwood, but for me this smells like bug repellent. The baby’s breath wasn’t as vibrant as the advertisement, and the plant stem looks very fake. At a $20 price point, expectations were pretty high. The positives that I can say about the set is that you do get a lot of product in the bottle, I liked the black reed sticks, and the packaging was nice; unfortunately though, at a $20 price point, this was a total miss for me.

This reed diffuser looks so nice as a décor item on a bookshelf. The scent is fairly strong even with just 2 to 3 reeds and covers my medium sized living room with a nice warm and rich vanilla scent that is noticeable but not overpowering. The bottle, reeds, and flower make for a aesthetically pleasing composition that is elegant and modern. The baby's breath comes in a small bag and is kind of compressed looking and a little hard to spread out to look natural without damaging but does look great after arranged. After a few weeks the appearance of the diffuser has stayed mostly the same with no change in color of the reeds or flower. I have noticed the scent seems less noticeable which I'm not sure if the reeds diffuse less or I am just more used to it. It does say to flip the reeds from time to time and I think that does help to increase the scent potency. The oil level has decreased quite a bit. I think with the rate its been decreasing I would expect it to last about 4 to 5 months.
