  • Don't fall into the brand name trap.
Color: Sunburst
I purchased this guitar for a practice beater and it turned out to be better than the guitar I was trying to save wear and tear on. I wish I had known about these before I wasted money on a more expensive brand that has 3 letters in the name and was 3 times more expensive. No set up needed, the fret work, sound, intonation and action are excellent. I have found no blemishes or flaws of any kind in the finish. It stays in tune quite well even without locking tuners. I have no experience with any other "budget" guitars on Amazon but I honestly don't see where you could get any better quality for the price. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Insane value
Color: Sunburst
Shocked at the high quality. I shouldn’t have been given other positive reviews maybe, but this is a way easier to play and better sounding instrument than my other electric guitars that cost 3 to 4 times as much. The pickups are pretty freaking good, almost no hum even from the single coils, even the strings it came with are decent, light and took a little breaking in, but I love light strings for lead play and don’t mind them for rhythm either. The humbucker at the bridge sounds great. Good output from all pickups. Even the whammy bar that I saw in other reviews pushed the instrument out of tune hasn’t done that for me. Neck shape is a nice width and contour, pretty middle of the road. Frets are nice and big and appear to be polished stainless steel making bends easier and lighter left hand still able to prevent fret buzz, more relaxed play possible. They should also last pretty much forever. The fret work is phenomenal. Someone took time to make the frets perfect with no significant edges. You could run a nylon stocking along this and not snag anywhere. I adjusted the action on the lower strings slightly, but otherwise it came set up almost perfect. The pickup height was perfect helping with that good output. I didn’t check but wondered if the cavities were foil lined given lack of hum. I can’t tell if the nut is really bone, but it’s definitely a really durable material. Weight of the instrument feels about 7 lbs-ish. Action is really good with just enough neck relief out of the box for my needs. Really nice looking as well. You could easily pay 3x for a much worse guitar. I’ve never paid over a grand for an electric , but this seems comparable to name brands in that ball park of price as an instrument. Locking tuners might be cool, but the tuner action is smooth and gears are enclosed protected from any sand particles or other junk. Crazy good value. They say that these come from a factory that also produces another famous brand starting with an F and founded by a dude named Leo and ending in ender. I believe it now and honestly prefer this so far other than the lack of clout by playing a fesley vs one of those. I think it’s better to get two of these or three and have one everywhere so you can practice a ton and not worry about banging it up too bad. Even the freaking gig bag is decent. What have we been paying for before these? I’ve bought another couple really cheap guitars from other brands and I had to work a lot on frets and neck and action and pickups to make them playable. This is the opposite experience. Premium or at least high mid grade instruments for the same price as crappy toy instruments that aren’t quite playable. Crazy! Maybe I got lucky, but I think they just have their precision manufacturing and quality control system buttoned down pretty tight. ... show more

  • Great Guitar for the Price!
Color: Purple
Wasn't sure exactly what to expect when I ordered the Fesley, in purple, but the prime days price was great and I figured it would be a good modification platform at the very least. I'd seen some reviews on YouTube, but you really don't know what you are getting until you get a guitar in your hands. Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the Fesley. It's a great feeling, great playing guitar, right out of the box. The satin neck feels amazing and the fret edges are smooth, which isn't always true at this price point. The guitar is not light, but not heavy. Feels just right from a weight perspective. The color is surprisingly nice as well. Really a good looking instrument. There is always room for improvement, but most of the minor quibbles I have are more to do with the price point than anything else. The bridge could be better. I would prefer different pickups, etc. All things that would raise the price. Lol. Giving the guitar's overall high quality, I don't mind making a few minor modifications to make it exactly how I want it. On the other hand, it comes with almost all the accessories that a new guitarist would need, from a gig bag to picks, so I would also recommend it for a first guitar for someone as well. While I haven't tried every guitar at this price point, I have played a few and for everything you get, and the guitar's overall quality, I think this may currently be the best guitar available for around one hundred and fifty dollars, give or take. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Very good for the price
Color: Purple
Not sure what to write here, I ordered this guitar and it took longer to reach me than expected. After finally receiving the instrument, I was pleased by the quality of the construction. The guitar holds a tune without any issues and sounds like a million bucks. Out of the box, without any setup other than tuning, the guitar is very playable and even included a quick chord reference card. Comparing this Fesley to my Jackson JS32T (Since they were both about the same price for me), the Fesley has a cleaner sound but that Jackson has a growl that's perfect for metal. The Jackson begs to be shredded on meanwhile the Fesley doesn't. The doesn't mean that you can't shred on the Fesley, just saying the Jackson feels demon possessed while Fesley does not. The Fesley build quality and fit and finish is just as good as the Jackson, if not better. Both are made in China, both have ceramic pickups, both are excellent choices. ... show more
