This came well packaged. The guitar weighed 6.3 pounds. The gig bag is just a dust cover with no padding. There is no tremolo bar, even though one is mentioned on the Amazon page. And that's fine, since a Telecaster type guitar like this one has a hard tail bridge. The practice amp is okay, even though it has to be plugged in to an outlet to be used. The strap and cable are very basic. The tuner is the one included in most beginner packages and it's frustrating to use. Better to grab an app on your phone to assist with tuning. The guitar itself is good. The tuners have a bit of slack, but functioned well enough. The nut is plastic, but cut well enough to play cowboy chords for a beginner. There were no high frets or fret buzz, even after I lowered the action. More about that later. The fret ends weren't perfect, but they were good enough to play on. The neck is somewhat of a slim C and very comfortable to play. It feels unfinished, but smooth. I suggest you use the included hex wrench to lower the action until it's around 6-7/1,000's or you start to have any fret buzz, then back off a bit. It seems that almost all guitars are set too high from the factory. This was no exception, although it wasn't incredibly high. It could have been played at the factory setting, but you'll enjoy it a lot more with lower action. The body is well finished with no obvious blemishes. The bridge is a top loader, so no string through body on this guitar. I prefer string through on my Telecasters, but I didn't notice any pinging or sustain problems, so this one is staying as a top loader. The electronics function well, and the selector switch feels surprisingly firm, which is a good thing. The pickups are fine as long as you stick to clean tones. And as a beginner, that's likely what you should be doing. This guitar and kit are exactly the kind of thing someone starting out on guitar needs. And for around 105 dollars after a coupon on the Amazon page, this is a very good value for money.

I used to own an electric guitar when I was a kid and it cost quite a bit and wasn't very high quality or heavy. I haven't had one in a long time and this one blew me away. The quality is outstanding for the price. The sound that came out of this is quite good and the amplifier has a ton of settings and sounds really good. I'm just shocked how good this guitar is for a practically unknown brand. The guitar itself is beautiful and constructed so well. This guitar feels SO good, it's very heavy and if you don't like the logo at the top of guitar you can easily sand it off with hardly any effort without damaging the wood. There is no other branding on the guitar so it looks super clean. The knobs feel AMAZING and are extremely smooth with ZERO wobble. It comes with an electric tuner (battery included) which is pin point accurate to the tuning app I downloaded. It had a full set of extra strings, a guitar strap and a carrying case. The amp itself is not bad at all and has a great texture to it, it doesn't look tacky and it serves it's purpose pretty well. This kit comes with 2 picks too and a cable. At the moment there's a $45 dollar off coupon putting this at $105 which is a steal. This is just an awesome guitar and I'm pleasantly surprised.

The factory packaging is not secured (the meiou box does not have tape) so in shipping the guitar fell out of the internal meiou box and was bouncing around unprotected. In turn the body cracked on both sides where the neck connects. The guitar still functions but this is a factory packaging issue. Next the guitar itself is very cheap, id argue that even at 100$ if you catch the coupon you’re still better off getting a used Ibanez gio or something similar. This is cheap and feels cheap. the neck on mine has what feels like glue specs on the back, the action came really high and the bridge to adjust it is poorly built and fiddly to adjust. My last gripe is the carrying bag is unpadded, thin and i wouldn't trust it if i needed to carry the guitar in it. Pros are the knobs, switch, pickups and amp are all usable. There’s no fret buzz, aside from the glue on the neck of mine it is thin and easy to play. But overall id pass on this just considering the poor factory packaging you’re liable to get a broken item! If you want to get a beginner guitar, you don't need an expensive one but i don’t recommend this one!

I have not received it, this is just a placeholder for the moment. This will be the first electric guitar I have acquired on Amazon. Things I will be looking at when evaluating the instrument will include: Overall construction - checking for any flaws in the finish, uniformity of of the paintwork and any irregularities in the metal parts and fitment of said parts to the wooden body. A properly finished and fretted neck, nut and tuning machines The set-up as performed by the factory, string height and intonation Guitar electronics and the audio output plus a review of the small amplifier included Looking forward to getting this guitar and putting it through it's paces! Will adjust the product rating as this reviewer sees fit after testing.

I received this item as part of the Amazon Vine program. Pro, Well packaged Easy to use Easy to tune Comes with a lot of accessories Con, The strings could be better, but it's fine. Overall, 5/5 This guitar kit is really good. It is well-packaged, well-made, and comes with many accessories. The guitar itself is beautiful, with a shiny finish. The included amp and other accessories are fine, no real complaints, they work. For the price, I think they are comparable to low-end store models, a great pick up for a beginner or student a like. Not bad at all.
