This is a great and super helpful product, and it’s so simple. I have a small apartment with no outdoor space so I usually find myself struggling to keep dirt on newspapers when I’m replanting, or inevitably just planting on the floor cause it’s falling there anyway. This kept all of the dirt in the tarp, and when i cleaned up the soil slid right off into the compost bin and then the rest rinsed right off in the shower. Needed a way to repot my plants that I keep at work without making a mess or having to take them outside and this was perfect. I repotted 5 plants - 2 6 inch planters, 2 8 inch planters and 10 inch planter - all within about 90 minutes with NO mess. The 26.8x26.8 was the perfect size for me, I might need something a bit larger if I'm using larger pots but for now this is great. The material was thick and sturdy. The snaps worked perfectly and held everything together. When I was finished all I needed was a quick rinse and wipe with a dry cloth and it was like new. It folded right back into its original size and is now stored in my desk drawer along with my other at work plant supplies. Must buy for any plant parent who wants to have a way to keep your plant repotting mess-free. SIZE: This mat creates a large space to repot your plants and creates a square with rims several inches tall by snapping together four little buttons at the corners. It has enough space to comfortably set many pots on, a mixing bin, and several bags of substrate at a given time. I need to repot plants frequently, as well as satisfy my need to propagate since I have 100+ plants to take care of. *Since it's very big, you'll need to have a large enough table to set it on or use it on the ground which is what I do. Logically speaking, It's not a super rigid material so you wouldn't want to place it on a small surface area and place something heavy on the overhanging part because it'll fall over. It's rigid enough to keep it's shape and the walls high enough to contain the mess. (The only con I could argue for others is that it could actually be too large for some people. Not everyone has a large enough table to work on so they'd have to work on the ground, and this could be difficult for people who aren't able to easily get up and down, for whatever reason.) ASSEMBLY & CLEANING: Super easy to assemble. All you need to do it unfold it and snap the four buttons to create the walls. When you're done and want to get rid of whatever soil is left in it, just fold it like a burrito and dump it out. The material isn't porous so you can hose it off and/or clean it with a cleaning wipe, like lysol or Clorox. (I do this, especially when I replaced soil for plants that had pests because you don't want to cross-contaminate. Then, just fold it up and put it away. Overall, all positives for me! ... show more

Bought this tray so I could easily without mess, repot my African violets in the house. It works great! The material is a thin but sturdy plastic with snaps in each corner to keep create a tray-like area to contain the dirt and so easy to clean it up and get on with your day. It works well!
