Watch out! Very sturdy and handsome unit but photo is deceptive. While measurements given appear correct, photo must have used only children's shoes and boots. Can only fit 2.5 pairs of size 9.5 shoes, not boots, on the two shelves and one pair of 6 to 8 inch hiking boots on the boot shelf.

I spent a long time looking for an entryway bench that didn’t look cheap or flimsy, and I am so glad I landed on this one. It honestly looks much more expensive than it is. Here is why I’m giving it 5 stars: Rock Solid: I was a little skeptical about the "550 lbs" weight limit claim, but this thing is solid as a rock. My partner and I can both sit on it to put our shoes on at the same time and there is absolutely no wobbling or creaking. The bamboo feels very high quality. The "Secret" Storage: The flip-top compartment under the cushion is brilliant. It’s the perfect spot to dump keys, wallets, and sunglasses so they aren't cluttering up the counter. The side pocket is also great for slipping in mail or magazines. Capacity: It holds a surprising amount of shoes. I can fit my taller boots on the side and regular sneakers on the shelves comfortably. It really cleaned up the pile of shoes we used to have by the door. Assembly: It took me about 25 minutes to put together. The instructions were clear, and all the holes lined up perfectly (which rarely happens with furniture like this). If you need a functional, good-looking piece for a hallway or mudroom, this is it. Highly recommend!

This item is tiny. Initially I liked it but after using it for a few weeks I'm concerned about the quality of construction. It is also very small. Hard for a normal sized adult to move up and down on it. Shoe area barely fits my 6 year olds shoes. My size 12 doesnt fit at all. If this is only going to be used for small children ok, but if you are an adult I cannot recommend

This shoe rack bench is extremely sturdy and well made—I love that it can hold a lot of weight without wobbling. The bamboo looks nice and natural, and the cushion is thick and comfortable for sitting while putting shoes on. The flip-top storage and side baskets are very useful for keeping things organized and out of sight. It fits perfectly in my entryway and adds both function and style. I thought would be bigger and there were no instructions sent to us so we had to spend quite a bit of time finding instructions which were also still not very clear. I wouldn’t recommend but you do get what you pay for…should have known it would be pretty cheap.

I really love this it looks great where we wanted to place it. However it did not come with any hardware to build it. Luckily we had extra screws from other projects and we were able to make it work but it would have been less of a headache if we had the hardware meant for it.
