This is a nice, clean soap worthy of the 365 by Whole Foods brand. It basically does the job as you'd expect all the while not having parabens, sulfates, or animal ingredients. It leaves my body feeling fresh and moisturized. Each bar of soap is pretty large and they last quite a while. The scent is pretty good. It's a clean scent that isn't overpowering unlike other brands of soap (you know the ones). As others have said the only real issue that anyone could find with this is that the bars all come in a single box and aren't individually wrapped. That's not much of an issue for me and it's better for the environment since it reduces waste so I have no issue with that. I highly recommend it!

The first day that this 8 pack of 365 Fresh Scent Bath Soap By Whole Foods Market arrived, I reveled in its Fresh Scent! I had declared that my day off from work so I couldn't be bothered to carry this soap into the bathroom. I left the entire box of soap sitting on my beside table beside my bed. I did at least take a few seconds to open the soap and look inside. I was surprised to see that the bars of soap were unwrapped. How in the heck did unwrapped bars of soap have such a strong and fresh scent? My usual brands of soap come individually wrapped. I thought that it was pretty cool that Whole Foods had figured out how to make bars of scented soap that didn't need to be individually wrapped. I could imagine how great that must be for the environment. In my opinion, this Fresh Scent bath soap smells the way that a bar of soap should smell. Although at the time I couldn't recall which brand it was, this Whole Foods 365 bar soap reminded me a lot of the bath soap that we used when I was a teenager. I'm not sure that I can explain how great my bedroom smelled with all 8 bars of this soap sitting on my beside table. But I can say this soap made my bedroom smell so nice that I had visions of putting all 8 bars of soap in the bathtub with me the next time I took a bath. Fast forward about 24 hours. The powerfully strong Fresh Scent of this bath soap had died down so much that the soap barely had any scent left at all. Now, I have to put my nose up close to these bars of soap to smell anything. Now, I can just smell the very faint scent of citrus. I'm very disappointed that the Fresh Scent of this soap didn't last very long at all. Could it be that these bars of soap need to be individually wrapped to help retain their Fresh Scent? Due to the rapid loss of its scent, I wouldn't switch from my regular soap to this 365 Fresh Scent Bath Soap By Whole Foods Market. However, I very much enjoyed the Fresh Scent of this soap during the brief time that it lasted. Because of that I will rate this soap four stars.

I'm a fan of Whole Foods brand products because they tend to use as many naturally derived ingredients as possible in their products and yet they work just as well, if not better, than other products that are full of artificial ingredients. In an effort to clean up my lifestyle, I've been replacing all my body care items to products that don't contain paraben or sulfates, so I was happy to find these bar soaps by 365 that are free of both these ingredients. I also appreciate that they don't wrap each bar individually, saving on packaging and thus creating less waste, and the box they come in is also recyclable. The soap bars themselves have a light, fresh smell that I find very pleasant, and they cleanse well without drying out my skin. I'm very pleased with them on multiple levels and gladly give them a solid 5 stars!

I'm definitely no soap enthusiast, I usually use the cheaper stuff, though I avoid big-name brands in favor of more natural soap like tea tree oil, etc. This soap has a lot of ingredients, but I don't think any are too objectionable, and it does list the bad things that are NOT included, which is nice. This soap feels good in your hand, lathers up nicely, smells pretty good (mild, not overwhelming), and leaves my skin feeling neither dry nor oily. Eight bars for twelve bucks, a pretty good deal for some good basic mostly-natural soap.

I am not sure how much you can really report on soap other than it cleans or it doesn’t and it smells or it doesn’t. Well this cleans just like any bar of soap you have probably used and the scent is very subtle. Personally, I would prefer individual boxes for each bar since that would be more convenient for storage, but the 8-pack is still relatively manageable. As for value, it won’t dethrone the 20 pack of 4.5 ounce brand name bars that you can get at your local big box wholesale store for a similar price, but it can be an alternative if that option is not available.

This bar soap is a very pretty green and smells fresh and clean. I appreciate that they are not individually packaged to save on packaging and the environment. After getting this wet it lathered up really fast and smells great during and after your shower. As long as you place this in a tray, to dry out, it really lasts and does not stay slimy between uses. My skin felt really soft, clean and protected after using this and it also smelled great throughout the day. I'm really happy with it.

This is the second type of soap I have tried from 365 by Whole Foods. It is just as good as the other soap I've used by them. It has a good sent. It works well.

These bars are not individually wrapped - they all arrive in one box. The bars are a just slightly smaller than other bath bars I buy. The scent is VERY subtle. So subtle it almost seems as if it doesn’t have a scent which makes it fine for men and women. Soap lathers nicely and feels like it does a good job washing. Rinses clean. Overall happy but I wish it had more of a scent.
