Light is great. Bright, adjustable mount to allow more coverage. Bad thing is the wall mount bolt pattern. Have put up at least 20 dusk to dawn and motion sensor flood lights over my 70 years as homeowner and ALL the fixtures have used the same triangular pattern same size pattern. Take one down put new up on same bolts. NOT this one. Some stupid design engineer made a command decision and made mount holes 1/6 too small and 1/8 more narrow. 70 year old at top of 20 foot ladder aint real happy when nothing fits. just a little more irritant in a sand in underwear world. You will need to redrill mount or grind their base to fit. New install will be simple. ... show more

    • Very bright.
Easy, typical 3 wire hookup. Had a slightly smaller base pattern than my old light so I did have to drill 2 new holes (used 1 of the original). I was a bit worried at first because I covered the light sensor with my finger after hookup and it didn't come on, but I left it mounted anyways because it was hot af and I didnt feel like being on the ladder any longer. Low and behold, it worked perfectly and is MUCH brighter than it seems like it would be. Sensor works perfectly and the light turns on as soon as it starts to get dark and stays on until the sun comes up. Our barn is about 350-400' from the house, and this light illuminates about 100' in front of the barn. Makes it very easy to see whats going on in the pasture. The Good; -Brighter than I expected yet just as thin and light as I expected too. However, this time, that is actually a good thing. -They are not that big (5"x6") but they are really bright. -Just one of them is powerful enough to splash light all over a 1 car garage from the ceiling. -They do not get so hot that they cannot be touched after a few minutes like other similar sized LED lights. -After 1 hour of being left on while sitting on a concrete floor, I was able to pick up the light and touch any part of it while it was still on and nothing felt more than a little warm. -The housing is metal and if I had to guess, it made form zinc or aluminum but I can't say definitively without destructive testing. -The mounting bracket, fasteners and screws are all steel along with the anchors provided to mount the lights. -The cord is grounded and is roughly 5 foot 6 inches long. With the small size and lightweight build, these lights can be added in a lot of places where traditional setups would be a hassle to use. I am going to get some magnets and replace the bracket fasteners with wingnuts or something similar so I can use these lights in my shop and I look forward to see how they perform in the long run. With all that said, there are 2 minor issues but they are the reason I did not give this product 4 stars. 1) It is very clear the housings are brush painted but whoever did the prep and brush work just did not care. I typically don't say anything when there is a minor flaw in the paint/finish but when the whole thing looks like the one I got, I can't help but say something. 2) One of the lights came with looks to be thermal paste or something similar smeared on part of it like someone was handling thermal paste then picked up the light and then did not realized they left some behind in the light. It is not a major issue and I was able wipe it off with some 91% Isopropyl Alcohol and a paper towel. Sure, those are both kind of small issues but because I got these lights though Vine, I feel obligated to speak up about everything I find and do my best to be accurate. ... show more
