These 35W plug-in LED flood lights are super bright. I was honestly surprised by just how much light they put out. I even tried to take a picture to show how bright they were, but the camera just couldn’t capture it. They’ll be great for working on projects in the garage or anywhere else you need strong lighting. I think this is a really nice set of lights, and the fact that they’re supposed to be waterproof is another good bonus. I don’t plan on getting them wet, but it’s still nice to know that a few drops of rain shouldn’t hurt them. We’ll probably avoid installing them permanently since they’re smaller and work best when you can move them around and use them in different spots as needed. I like that they come with a bracket you can use to set them down and angle them, or you could even hang them using the bracket if you want. At first, I thought I was missing something because I couldn’t find any switch to turn them on or off, but it turns out there’s no switch or sensor. If you plug them in, they’re on. To turn them off, you have to unplug them unless you’re using a power strip or another external device to control the power. Overall, I really like these lights. They would have easily gotten five stars from me if they had just included an on/off switch. ... show more

These lights put out a ton of brightness for their size—perfect for my shop and work areas. Plug them in and they’re ready to go, no wiring needed. The light is crisp and white, and it definitely covers more space than I expected. A couple things I wish they had: an on/off switch and the ability to daisy-chain multiple units. As it is, you’ll need to control them from the outlet or a power strip. Not a dealbreaker, but worth noting. DESCRIPTION: 35W Plug in LED Flood Lights Outdoor, 3500lm Super Bright LED Work Light with 5.9FT Plug, IP66 Waterproof 6000K Flood Lighting for Backyard, Workshop, Basketball Court, 2 Pack PROS: LED lights are so much more efficient, brighter, and last much longer! CONS: None. WHAT’S IN THE BOX: Two lights, mounting hardware and an adjustment tool. REVIEW: I absolutely love LED lights. This kit is fantastic because it comes with two lights! These lights are very bright and equivalent to about 100–200-watt incandescent lights. At 3500 lumens the charts are lacking a standard, but just know, they’re bright. The beauty of these bright lights is that they use so much less energy to achieve the same level as an incandescent or Halogen bulb. LED are even more efficient than CFL bulbs. Not only that, if you notice the fins on the back of the lights those are for heat disbursement. Although LED have the reputation of not getting hot, they do. It’s just compared to the incandescent bulbs; they use so much less energy to achieve the same lumens it would appear they don’t get hot. I’d say a 35-watt LED gets about as hot as a 35-watt incandescent bulb. One thing that’s plagued incandescent bulbs has the lifespan. LED bulbs last so much longer because they use less energy, but specifically, because they don’t get as hot to put out the same lumens. Heat kills bulbs. I like this kit uses plugs. Some similar kits you need to hardware, so it’s nice when they include a plug so you can use them wherever you have an outlet. You can also mount them to the ceiling or perhaps use them as a portable work light by mounting them to an aluminum portable bracket/carriage. I use these lights with a remote outlet. This allows me to turn them on using a button rather than having to plug them in. If you mount them on the ceiling or somewhere difficult to reach, you’ll want something similar. AMAZON PHOTO/DESCRIPTION ACCURACY: The photos and description are accurate. VALUE/VERDICT: These are versatile and useful lights in the garage or storage area. My garage work and storage area only has one socket for an overhead bulb in addition to the limited lighting and on- time of the garage door opener light. I have some great handheld and tripod lamps for spot work but wanted brighter, more permanent, general lighting. These lights have 5.9 Ft long, grounded, attached cords. Both LED panels seem to be sturdy. The package contains a pair of light panels that are outdoor-rated and have 36 LED bulbs each for very bright, white light. Along with my attached picture of the package, you will see how well one of the lights brightens my 2-car garage at night. Without the car in the way, I’m confident the whole garage would be well lit with just one light. The light panels are energy efficient at 35W and run at touchable heat after being on for an hour. There is no ON/OFF switch; if plugged in, they are ON. I plan to try using them on a smart plug and see no reason why that shouldn’t work for ON/OFF. The lamps have a support handle if you want to set them on the floor or table. If you want, you can remove the handles with the included allen wrench. The package also comes with a pair of metal wall-mount anchors for each panel that go through holes in the support handle. These are a bit odd. There is no instruction information of any kind in the package, but the product page shows how they work. I will put one light on the wall, and if needed, I will put up the second one. Both lights seem to be made of good materials, and the claimed life of the lamp is 50,000 hours (just under 6 years continuous use). One warning, a point made on the product page, is not to be looking directly into the light when you turn them on. Take it seriously!
