I like the design of these socket sets. I have bought multiple BOEN products and all of them seem to be fantastic. As everything tool related nowadays seems to be sourced from China in some way or another there is no need in overpaying for Chinese metal tools and that is why i opted to buy these BOEN sets because they are reasonably priced. The quality of these is not an issue because all of BOEN products exceed ANSI standards so performance and durability is not really an issue and as long as you are using the tools as intended i don't think you'll have a problem with these performance wise. This set weighs a bit more so they put two side clamps on this case to keep it securely closed and it's slightly heavier but the portability is not a problem. The variety of sizes is a plus with this set because you never know what may need one day and every size is laser etched onto it's corresponding socket so every one is easy to read clearly along with raised numbers above the indentation where the socket sits so you will know where to return them into what slots if you remove multiple sockets from the case at any given time. Some people have left negative opinions about the case these come in saying that it doesn't hold them in place very well but i have no issue with that because if you keep the foam insert in the middle of the two sides that comes with every BOEN set and you aren't dropping and throwing this case around recklessly i don't think it'll be an issue for you. One nice touch with the BOEN socket sets is they have a oil glaze on all of the sockets when you recieve them so you don't have to oil them down yourself because as any tool owner knows humidity and the slightest bit of water will rust and ruin tools so they even thought of that for the consumer which i love. Every socket set BOEN sells has a lifetime warranty and in the case there's a card that explains how to activate the warranty and all it consists of is sending an email to the company and including the order number from Amazon and the serial number of the set which is printed on a sticker that is stuck to the back of the case itself and they'll send a confirmation email confirming that your lifetime warranty is active and if you have any issues arise to email them back whenever if need be. I hope this review helps you and i highly recommend this product to anyone.

For the price these are pretty good. I work at a fleet shop and use the 21mm to bust lug nuts torqued at 150ft lbs and impact them back everyday, it’s holding up well.

Bought the kiddo his first car. NOT a fancy ride, but functional. It needed a substantial bit of suspension and brake work. I decided that it was work I could tackle without too much difficulty. I got this set to accompany a 1/2" Craftsman impact driver from a big box store. I figured if I repaired his car and used the equipment for future repairs, it was easily worth it. I only used the middle and larger sockets, but they all held up just fine. No internal marring, wear, cracks etc. It was used to replace/repair/remove upper and lower control arms, sway bar links, coil struts, brake caliper bolts (where I could reach them) and lug nuts. This set held up fine, and while I am not a ASE certified mechanic by a LOOOONG way, I didn't figure I needed to pay Snap-On prices for something that might get used a handful of times a year. If you need an impact set that will handle modest use, I think these will serve you well enough. I cannot attest to how they would handle daily use.

Needed a decent set of deep sockets since I had a ton of gaps in my racks and always needed the one that was missing. This is a very full set with most any size the DIY person may need in their garage. They seem well made and are holding up well. Best deal I could find on such a complete set.

have these for a while now, used many of the sizes from the lowest to the biggest. these socket's wall are slightly thinner compare to other impact ones ive seen, but not one has break on me yet. now that i had more experinces with these socket, i do prefer them thinner wall, from size 9mm - 19mm you dont really need them thicker because those bolts arent really high torque thus i can just stick to these impact socket for where sometime thin wall chrome socket would be needed. the higher size socket are thickered wall to accomodate for more torque. i went to the store and saw some that are really thicked wall and knew i would not be able to use the 10mm and 12mm where clearance is required just because its slightly fatter sockets. i have not use a single chrome socket since ive bought these, and i do use these on very powerful impact wrench such as flex and dewalt dcf961, but dont abuse them, these are high quality in my mind.
