  • Instructions for Use: For best results, add only 4 oz of ACTIVE descaler to the reservoir for each cleaning. Then fill the remaining way to the fill line of your machine with clean water. Then for single-cup machines, run 2 brew cycles on the largest cup setting, disposing of dirty water between brews. For multi-cup machines, run a single large brew cycle into the coffee pot. Afterwards, rinse and wipe out the reservoir and other areas of the coffee maker. Finally, we recommend running an additional 1-2 brew cycles with clean water to remove any cleaning residues. Refer to directions on the packaging for additional guidance.

Perfect, it works. My Breville Barista Espresso machine was clogged, barely pouring hot water maybe 1-2 drips in 4 seconds. As soon as i started cleaning process/descale it worked and now is working fine. Good value for the money. I will use it as well on my ninja coffee maker too, so same solution works on many machines. I think this did a good job. It only called for a little bit of it in the whole water side. I think I will add more next time. But!!!!!! The coffee is better!!!! It just still had some coffee grounds from one of the k cups from before after it. That’s why I didn’t give it 5 stars.

I messed up my Keurig a bit by not descaling it enough. Tried to fix it with vinegar. It wasn't enough. I used this stuff and was able to get it working again. (Of course, I had to open the machine up and reset the thermal switch multiple times because it wasn't moving water through enough while it was failing.) It's running smooth now. Very worth buying - it saved me from replacing the machine. And so much better price than the K brand version. ... show more

This descaler works fine. I use it in my single serve coffee maker. The only problem is that I have to rinse the coffee maker out A LOT afterwards. It leaves an unpleasant taste behind and it takes a lot of rinsing my to get rid of it. 10 plus brew rinse cycles at the least. Would not recommend.     • Great Customer Service: A FIX FOR THE LINGERING SMELL/TASTE IN KEURIGS!

I purchased this product as a cost-effective alternative to the Keurig descaling solution and vinegar options for my Keurig Supreme Plus multi-stream machine. My descale light wasn't yet on, but I wanted to be proactive with descaling, so I added 4 oz to a full tank of water and ran the Active descaling solution through my machine as the instructions advise. It cleaned well, but then came the chemical smell/aftertaste that wouldn't go away. I rinsed with multiple tanks of clean water. I even ran 50/50 white vinegar through another cycle followed by multiple tanks of clean water flushes. Still, undrinkable coffee. Blue Mountain coffee RUINED by the cup! I was so frustrated, and finally contacted the company through it's website form. In the meantime, I purchased a new Keurig thinking my other machine was ruined. Then, the next day I received a very nice email from Jess in customer service offering a fix: Add 1 teaspoon of baking soda to a full tank of water. Brew the entire tank cup by cup. Then flush with a tank of clean water. It worked! While I could still smell hints of the solution when I opened the handle/pod area after brewing, the water had no odor or taste. To be sure, I repeated this entire process again, this time adding 2 teaspoons of backing soda and stirring it until dissolved. I flushed it out with clean water and the water has no smell or taste. Apparently, residual amounts of the solution get trapped in the tiny tubing of Keurigs. The baking soda neutralizes the acidity/smell. The company gave me a full credit and were very apologetic, saying it shouldn't happen. This should be in the instructions calling out Keurigs and this extra step. Product worked, but this was a hassle. However, customer service top notch. I now have an extra machine that I didn't need, but I like them both. ... show more
