This is a great product some I'm told...when used it did not blend very well and took a very long time(more than 3 minutes) to see the difference.

If you’re expecting traditional foundation coverage, this is not for you. This is more like a BB cream. It is lightweight on the skin and has light coverage. It is not buildable and does not have a noticeable or lingering scent. It does seem to change its color to match your skin tone, but this probably only works on less skin that does not have a lot of melanin. ... show more

Product applied to my skin felt ok at first. The color was good. But due to my (still) oily skin at age 64, the product felt "runny" and uncomfortable after an hour of wear. I needed to blot often and color kept needing re-touch-up. Color is sheer, but I might have needed a product with medium coverage instead. Likely a good product for very dry skin, and for someone who needs only sheer coverage. I added concealer over the top of this product but in a short time, my concealer didn't blend well with this product and it looked bad on me. Wrong product to even slightly oily skin. ... show more

Where have you been all my life, this foundation?! A couple other reviewers mentioned that this is a little light in color for them and that was also my experience. It’s not crazy noticeable, but I tan easily in summer so it’s def a little lighter than my chest. That said, I absolutely love wearing it! It’s medium coverage, but I’ve also had success building it- I just dab a little extra on areas that need more coverage and it works like a concealer. I typically don’t wear a lot of make up, but I do wear sunscreen and this has been awesome because it’s both. Goes on super fast and smooth with a brush. I have large pores and it def settles in there, even with a primer, but that’s par for the course with foundation. It’s very moisturizing, so it does take about 20 minutes to soak in for me- but after that my skin is very soft and smooth. I would say that the “lasts up to 16 hours” claim is exaggerated, but I don’t need full coverage all day- so that’s fine for me. Love it and will definitely buy it again! ... show more

    • Expect a Lighter Look
I have finally found 'my' foundation. This stuff does not feel like foundation. You think that it is going to be a sheer watery B&B, but it has something new and wonderful in it. It is sheer but it covers. You feel like you are wearing nothing at all. I use it with the primer that Amazon lists on the same page, Cheriol Makeup Primer, Isolation Cream, Skin Tone Correcting and Brightening Primer, Invisible Pore. It is said NOT to use primer, but I do it anyway, because I have to. The reasoning behind not using a primer is tha t the foundation cannot touch your bare skin, therefore it cannot change color. This is not true. I do not know how it 'knows' your skin tone to match to, but it does. It does match up, but a little on the light side. If I want a darker shade for the occasion, I dust it with tinted powder. Usually, I use a sheer, no color powder. Both work beautifully. I have used this is layers, if I need more coverage. It does not even catch in the little wrinkles underneath the eyelids. They end up smooth as a baby's bottom, even at my age! I did not think this color-change foundation would work. If it weren't for Amazon, I may not have tried it. They have such a liberal returns policy, I was able to try different foundations and send back what I did not like. The only caveat that I would speak of for this foundation is DO NOT apply too much. The amount that comes out of the dispenser is almost right; it is a little on the too-much side. Experiment to see which is best for you, but if you use too much, it is like rubbing too much lotion on your face and it will not absorb. It is a mess! EDIT: It is May of 2022 and I am still using this amazing foundation that is not a foundation at all. It still gives my skin a flawless, almost dewy finish and I am not a dewy girl! I have learned not to use hardly as much powder after applying and to be sure to wear that primer of your choice. I am so scared that they are going to discontinue it! ... show more

was dying to try this because i have NEVER found a foundation that matched my skin tone. While it does sort of match to my skin, it leaves behind little orange looking beads on my skin and my blender sponge. While it is light weight there is very little to NO coverage nor is it buildable but i have a pale complexion so i may just not be a good candidate for this. But i was not impressed ... show more
