This kit is very useful for replacement or custom hydraulic connections. I will be using it to restore the worn lines on my tractor. This kit does have instructions on the inner lid of the box, so be aware of that. The hose is strong but still flexible, and the visible striping makes it easier to see. This is an OK kit, for high pressure applications. The hose feels to be decent quality, especially for the low price. The hose ends arrived disorganized and spilled in the box, but everything arrived complete. The ends don't seem to be as nice as the hose, and came with quite a few scratches and dents. The box has some basic instructions printed on it, but there was no other information inside. The one issue I have with this kits is they the hose requires skiving, which is not mentioned on the product page. I am an amateur at working with hydraulics, and didn't notice this when I ordered. If you are purchasing this as a DIYer pay attention to this as it is difficult to do this without proper equipment. Overall I think its an OK kit for the price, but it is not well suited for a beginner.
