These metal zip ties work great, they seem much longer than the other ones I’ve been buying up until now. I like that you get two colors, just the bare silver tone metal and a flat brushed black. I was disappointed to find my box did NOT contain the tie fastening tool or the tie snips or the cut resistant gloves that were depicted at the time I chose this specific lot. I even asked the AI help thing whether it not this one was just the metal ties or if it were a kit of sorts that came with the tool. It confirmed twice I would be receiving the two colors, metal ties plus the hand held tool. Good thing I do already own one, but I was hoping to have a back up because these types of low quality tools will rust just because lol you could seal them in a no moisture container inside the vacuum of space and some how life will find a way and by life I mean rust. I am happy with what I did get, zip ties are strong, about 4 inches longer than the usual ones I buy at Ace Hardware and this has close to double the product. Black ones worked perfect to fix a black garden archway/wisteria tresses you can’t even see them unless you get close and really get to looking. They both stay locked once you’ve engaged the ties and if you happen to have the tiny little tool that pops the tie mechanism back up, they hold shape pretty well making them easy to reuse. Just try not to cut them if you’re looking to recycle them. They get extremely sharp once you cut the edge and you will end up cutting a finger tip or two. Another reason it sure would have been nice to have gotten the other items advertised lol at the very least the tie recycle tool

At first I was very excited for these ties. I tested a couple and they seemed to work very effectively! However when I went to use them to actually hold items down or together, out of 6 zip ties, 4 held strong and 2 kept loosening up. Maybe I was doing something wrong? I'm not sure. I used them in hard to reach areas so I wasn't able to get pics of them, but that's why I used metal ones! I wanted them to be extra durable and able to tolerate at least a little heat. They are very easy to use, just like any zip tie, slide it in and tighten. They are a bit spendy, but you do get a good amount of them. If they continue to only be as effective as they have been however, that means a lot of redundancy just to keep them safe. They are tough though! My wire cutters are a bit rusted, and I couldn't snip the ends off with them at all! That speaks well for their durability for sure. Their durability definitely means they have their uses though.

I love these. We live in Texas and after a certain amount of time you get tired of replacing zip ties that have been sun worn. I'm talking 100's of zip ties on certain applications. With these it's no longer an issue. They're heavier, sturdier, and even if they happen to rust I know they'll outlast the plastic ones. They're simple to use too. Just pull the end of the cable through, fold it back over to prevent slipping out and then clip the excess. Practical and for so many zip ties, worth the price no question.

This is a lifetime supply of ultra durable metal zip ties. They’re longer than others I’ve purchased and come in both plain stainless and painted black. The variation I got doesn’t include the tool, but I’ve already got one, so that’s fine. They do appear to be stainless so they aren’t going to rust anytime soon and will most definitely outlive any nylon alternative. These are much better suited to outdoor and vehicle use than the traditional nylon version. They aren’t impacted by heat, aren’t going to break down like plastic, and have a much stronger and more durable hold than a regular zip-tie. Think of them almost like a pipe clamp. They’re easy to use on their own but to get the most out of them I recommend getting the tool - you can get them much tighter and cut the tail off much cleaner with the tool. The price seems just a tad high to me, so 4 instead of 5 stars.
