After about 4 and half years use, my Black Ducker lawn mower original batteries last shorter than before, so I looked for a replacement, and this product came to my eyes. My yard is not super big, in Florida summer time, generally I need two fully charged batteries to finish my yard work. But recently, I need two and half to make it done. So I ordered this brand new battery. It took about 40 minutes to full charge, and last about 1.5 times long as the original new batteries. Everything fits my expectations. Only one drawback I concerned about, it is the green light for power indicator, even I used out the battery power in my mower, still one light will be on when you check it. The original batteries usually all were gone when done. It confused me at beginning time. All together, to the price and performance, I recommend to everyone. Update: 2019-09-08 I ordered the second one for replacement of my two old OEM Black&Decker 40V batteries, it all works greatly on my lawn mower and blower. The battery I ordered months ago still works perfectly and last long time for working, full charge may take about 1 hour and 30-40 minutes for a low power (not enough running mower). However, the second one I got yesterday seems not as good as the first one, last shorter time on running my lawn mower, and full charge only took about 1 hour, 30-40 minutes shorter than the first battery. I am wondering if it is a used one, which cannot hold enough charge and then last shorter with less power, works as my old OEM 4+-years batteries. Or maybe not 2.5A. It is not acceptable for a brand new battery. Thanking about returning it. And remove one star from my rank. Conclusion: I bought two batteries, one works perfectly and another work just so so. So the quality may vaey, depending on what you get and see if you are lucky or not.

These batteries work well have them more a lot more power than the standard black and decker ones which are 1.5 A.

Got one and it only charged 3 bars out of four and frequently had to be reset (detached and then reattached to charger) to charge. Sent for a replacement and the replacement had the same problem. I've ordered several knock-off B+D batteries like this for my mower and trimmer over several years but have never had one that would not fully charge. Unfortunately, with these knock-offs, there are probably just a couple of factories putting different stickers on the same model, and those I ordered three years ago (Nebatte) and two years ago (Amityke) are no longer around. So, there is no way to order more of the same batteries that I am still using. I was lucky to be able to get one more from the company I ordered from last year (GERIT BATT) but I think I got the last one since it now shows "not available." Suffice to say, you don't know what you're going to get! I'm resistant to buying genuine B+D batteries because I have not seen that their performance is much better and the price on these is right. Also, I'm trying to get my mower to last just a couple more years as I've greatly reduced my lawn size, so my demands on the equipment are decreasing. Worthy of note, I have one of the original batteries that came with the mower that is hanging in there but it only charges enough (one light) to run my string trimmer for a few minutes and can't even start the mower. IMPORTANT TIP! Do NOT let these drain all the way! Always stop running the mower/trimmer as soon as power drops significantly. I don't know much about battery technology but I learned my lesson— I've bricked a couple by draining them to the point that they would not recharge.
