Got this and a sponge/squeegee head to keep in my truck. Now I don't have to use the worn out and too short gas station squeegee. Can clean the entire windshield from one side. It will collapse down small enough to fit in the cab. The quick-flip clamps are in fact, quick. The pole is heavy-duty enough for my purpose.

LONG STORY SHORT: I bought this 3ft pole to assist me in staining 410 linear feet of fencing. The plan was, to attach this to a cardboard spray shield holder, and put cardboard on it. That way I could hang the cardboard over the fence with one hand, and spray stain without getting stain on unwanted plants/features. This pole worked well, but the cardboard holder didn't...so I didn't use it as much as I wanted. I decided to keep the pole for future use, but I'm ditching the holder. PROS: -Good adjustable length, if 3 ft is all you need. -Sturdy enough, clasps hold the pole securely at any length. -Standard Paint Brush/Roller thread pattern, works with brushes and rollers. CONS: -The Main con...is that the handle grip, is foam and not rubber. Therefore it absorbs stain, water, paint, etc. and becomes "squishy" for a long time after that. It's like a sponge. I'd prefer if it was a rubber grip. -Also feels like like the adjustment clamps aren't very good plastic...seems like it would be the first thing to break. CONCLUSION: Overall, pretty good for the money. I'm sure I'll find other uses for it than just staining my fence.
