These little pens are a great size to keep in my wallet/bag that I carry by itself most of the time. The ink colors are all black, which is good for a pen to sign checks with, etc. BUT the chain on the pens that makes them attachable to something is attached to the CAP. So if the cap falls off, the pen is LOST. The caps are not tight, and mine fell off seconds after I attached it to my wallet on the outside. The chain needs to attach to the PEN part, NOT the CAP part. As it is, it's useless.

These are great little pocket pens. I keep mine in a leather pocket organizer. They are a great pocketable size. I just cut the chain loop off the top. They actually write really well too. Without the cap on they are a little uncomfortable to write with in my XL hands. When I pop the cap on the back it's perfect. My kids love them too. I wish I could buy a pack of a particular color. I did have one cap crack on me in my pocket, but they are so cheap it's not a big deal.

I am a student, and generally on the go a lot of the time. I originally wanted a keychain pen because I was a liquor merchandiser, and needed a pen handy to scribble my lists on the job. I ended up first buying the Nite Ize Inka Mobile Pen and Stylus (IMP-M1-R7) . This pen isn't particularly stylish but it had a screw in cap on both sides to prevent it from coming off the clip structure which was nice. I would end up snagging the pen on something in a hurry while I was out and about and lost at least two of them. For $7 a pop, not a huge deal. I never used the stylus feature. I then went to the True Utility TU246 TelePen Telescoping Key Ring Pen with 3 Refills . This pen is telescoping, which is nice because it takes up less space on your keychain. The drawback with telescoping is that it is one more little step you have to go through when you are trying to access your pen in a hurry. The other drawback with this pen is that the pen does not screw into the clip structure, which means you just pop the pen off from the pen cap. This means the chances of it falling off is high, and that's what happened to me. The ink refill cartridges is a nice thought but you will most likely lose the pen before needing a refill on ink. For $8 it may be worth the risk to you, it may not. I then stumbled upon these Bazic keychain pens. I am most satisfied with this purchase out of the alternatives because at $7 I can lose 17 of them and still be good without having to get back on Amazon and submitting a new order. The quality is what you would expect...they are cheap little mini keychain pens. I'm not sure why the star ratings on them were less than some of the competitors. I could've gone without the cheesy assortment of colors, but with 18 pens you can float the colors you don't want to whomever wants them. At the end of the day it is only a matter of time until you lose your keychain pen...this seems to be the best option around right now.

The pens write very well. However, that isn't why I ordered them. I ordered them to go on a lanyard and a key chain, because I already have pens that don't. I've only used them for a couple weeks and I've already gone through an entire package. Problems: The tops crack very easily. If it cracks toward the lower part, the pen keeps falling out of the top because it is loose. If it cracks toward the top, the little "eye" (like on a needle) that keeps it attached to the chain comes off and the entire pen falls off. One these 2 problems have already happened to all 6 pens in the first package.

I first ran across these ink pens during a street fair where a vendor was giving them away in a grab bag. I attached it to my keyring. After over a year it accidentally detached from the ring and was lost. So, after finding these new ones I jumped on it for the excellent pricing. I can say they are identical to the previous one I had, BUT the chain is thinner :( So that's why only 4 stars. But these pens are so handy. They fit anywhere easily. I keep one hanging off a wall lamp near my bed even to keep it handy. Totally recommend. Since there's so many, give some to your friends. Glad I found these.

Wanted some small pens to attach to my keychain at work where I am always in need of a pen and couldnt find the pens I usually get. The first one I put on ran out of ink after a week with minimal use. The others fell off either because the connection between the cap and the pen is not very secure or the eye bolt came out and the whole pen would fall off. I haven't had these pens for very long and I am down to my final pen in the first pack I opened. Maybe others will have better luck.

They work good if you need to carry a pen in your pocket. The lid on them can come off easy just add some clear tape on pen and lid and it will work great 4 Star rating because lid comes off . Pen is still working after A year I work in back of semi so it gets real hot in the summer and real cold in the winter and the pen never leaked in my pocket.

I am a server at an incredibly busy restaurant and these pens actually held up quite well. They took up a limited space in my apron and after an initial adjustment period, I could hold the shorter size easily. I did discard the tops with the chains, however, and I did notice early on that the lids didn't hold well. It did not detract from their utility for me. Ink flow is steady and instant and with so many, I'm not even close to running any out. My only gripe is that I would prefer one pack with colored ink to three with only black.
