The zippers are nicely done in that they hide away under an elastic piece, so as not to damage anything else outside of the bag but in the wash as well. It's a fine mesh so nothing gets snagged. The pull on the zippers is coated with plastic so they won't break and cause damage to laundry during the wash cycle. I bought some bags at Target the zipper pulls cracked and broke off leaving jagged metal. The sizes are great.
