Pros - Relatively easy installation - Impossibly thin. It's difficult to tell you have a screen protector on unless you know what to look for. - Zero impact on screen clarity. - Zero impact on touch sensitivity. One of the (many) downsides of glass screen protectors is that they reduce touch sensitivity due to their thickness. This Hydrogel screen protector does not have this issue. - Scratches self heal. Although the material is slightly soft like rubber, smaller scratches tend to restore themselves over a few minutes to hours. Cons - Soft, rubber-like finish means you can mark the surface with just your fingernail, for example. As noted in the pros though, these type of markings restore themselves completely after a few minutes/hours. - Increased friction when dragging. The rubber-like material means you fingers will catch slightly when dragging slowly and with some pressure. This may be an issue if you do twin-stick type gaming on your phone (I don't). It's not really noticeable for normal use. My first installation with the stickers was perfect, the video guide was very helpful. Immediately after application, I was actually not sure I did it correctly because the screen protector is so thin it's almost imperceptible. I thought I missed a step or something, but in reality my install was flawless. You need to look extremely closely at the edges of the screen to even notice the border. I hate glass screen protectors because they are always made cheaply so they accumulate scratches quickly and tend to crack at the slightest bit of stress. Modern phone screens are very strong, a glass screen protector is not going to protect your phone against the kind of force that would crack the screen. I'm actually way less worried about cracking my phone than I am just scratching it with my keys or coins or dirt and sand. This Hydrogel protector alleviates that stress completely. I genuinely hope companies keep making these so I'm writing a good review because I know it probably makes more economical sense to keep selling those cheapo glass screen protectors that are basically designed to shatter and scratch. ... show more

It is really easy to install, just make sure to read the instructions carefully. There is also a QR code to watch a YouTube video. Once installed the film blends nicely with the phone. So this is the first time I'm trying these. I picked these because I love getting my hands on the latest techs right, but I hate how bulky protectors can almost ruin the experience. The Iphone 15 Pro Max is actually aesthetically very pleasing and a bulky cover or screen protector can rob that from you where I feel it's almost not worth getting it if you had the 13/14 Pro Max. This thing is thin, ohh wow, so thin, it's impossible to perceive on your phone. It just blends so tightly with the screen. So the pros on this for me: - super thin and clear - adds no additional perceiveable weight and definitely no bulk in anyway to your phone -Cannot see the edge without really really trying Between Pros and Cons - The feel is not as slippery, it's not bad but it's not what you're exactly used to and again not too far off, but I'm not too sure yet. I think this is something you can get used to though. - I do see fingerprints on there, nothing too different from tempered glass really, it wipes off easily though. - A couple of scratch tests and it seems fine - Not sure little dings will heal themselves (too early to tell) - It's hydrogel right, so I sense that it may show imperfections if you put it through its paces Cons - I personally had to be patient to remove the bubbles and to put this on. I had to apply it slowly, meaning dust could probably get under the get before it's fully applied - I didn't like that part. It took a bit to muscle out the bubbles. - It's a big tough to remove and since it's so think, be patient because you can actually scratch your screen. I know it's hard to remove because I messed up putting it on where I had to use another one (you get 3 in the box, so that's good). - Putting these on should be seamless I would have loved it more if the application was less painful and it fit perfectly on the phone. The fit is definitely good enough, but it's marginally off center due to how you're putting it. You may get it perfectly, that's a tough one. It sinks and blends in so well onto the phone that even if it's off you can't even tell, so that's how good thin and clean it glues onto your screen. It's a great idea in my mind, amazing, it needs to be perfected though... here's a product someone could adjust and resell on Amazon for all types of phones, maybe I'll look into that... Ok I take a lot of things back... after trying a privacy tempered glass, just for the heck of it (the privacy glass does compromise the screen a bit, you have to touch more precisely and a bit more firmly... didn't like it). I bought another set of 3 and this time I followed the directions and can you believe, NOT ONE SINGLE BUBBLE, NOT ONE... Folks follow the directions. I think I should make a video for this and show people... if the video directions spoke it would have been easier to follow. Quick Written direction 1 - Keep everything in the packages 2 - place phone on its back on the mat in container 3 - Insert plastic holder in USB port with the 3 prongs facing up at the phone screen Make sure you push the plastic holder all the way till flush (Push in tightly, it's tight, but it's fine) 4 - Clean phone screen as clear as possible (I turn the phone off when I do this, makes it easy to see smudges) 5 - remove the hydrogel from small plastic bag Note that there are two sides - Make sure you can read "Paste Start Line" 6 - At the bottom where it says two - Insert in the prongs facing up 7 - Align as neatly as you can (that's not too bad at all) 8 - Once you're happy with alignment - Press everything down where it says Paste Start Line You have not remove the film yet (trust me) 9 - On the top where it says 1. Lift it all the way to the green part. It will show the top separation 11- Separate, as to just break the seal, so you can adhere the gel on the phone 10 - Now with the presser, just press while moving up on the phone screen till the top falls out. 12 - Now go to Number at the bottom, Lift it to remove that bottom film and again with the presser, push it all the way down, till the bottom piece falls out. 13 - Now Press firmly and peal from number 2. Clean, bubble free.... Even better than glass. The first time, I was remove bubbles with a lot of force for 20 minutes till my fingers hurt. This time, I was so shocked. Just follow the directions in the video. If you scan the code for the directions, you will see the quick video. Read my directions and watch the video and you're good... Now I will keep these for a few months and see how they hold... Clarity is prfect and the minimalistic look and feel is just priceless... --Big Fan ... Please note that I don't know anything about this seller or the product in anyway, I just love it, I was looking for something like this for a while. It may not be for everyone, but for me this is a win as I don't like bulky cases that ruin the experience of the phone... nothing is more gorgeous than your new tech toy, putting it in a bubble sucks... ... show more

Pros: - The film is sleek and unnoticeable in normal lighting - Application is easy with the included tool that plugs into the charging port - Self healing really works; light scratches disappear within minutes Cons: - The film is grippy to the touch (VERY different from glass) - Application can easily become misaligned since the tool does not prevent the film from moving 100% - Does not cover my iPhone 15 edge-to-edge (see attached picture) -- it only just covers the screen portion while leaving the bezels exposed All in all, a decent experience but a bit pricey compared to other options. If you want to try hydrogel films, consider a cheaper option. Otherwise if you like the feeling of glass or need edge-to-edge screen protection, consider a tempered glass protector. Edited to add: I also don’t like the sharp edges this and other films have since it makes edge swipes uncomfortable. A lot of glass protectors have this issue too, but some (like Flolab’s) have “3D edges” which are smooth and rounded. However, considering the bulk that glass protectors add and all the cons that hydrogel films bring, I will be going without a screen protector for now. ... show more
