  • They work fine. It comes with a three battery charger.
I’ve used non-Sony batteries in the past. I don’t usually recommend it, but if you can get it for the right price then I suppose it’s worth it. No issues with these so far. The previous brand I used was Wasabi and I did have some issues with them pretty early on, so far nothing wrong with these they work fine. I use a Sony a6400. I travel a lot so having a three pack that I can charge overnight is much better than using the previous two pack wasabi charger that I had. I even use three batteries for my GoPro. So having a three battery option is very useful. I really do like the three battery charger as well. I feel like it. It’s a waste of a cable to plug my camera in just to charge the single battery. With this, I can basically use the camera while charging more batteries. It’s very annoying that I can’t use my Sony because I have to plug it into charge the battery because they don’t have a charger for the battery. It’s the same reason I had to get a charging dock for my GoPro (unrelated to this review, but same idea). I charge two batteries and put a new battery in the camera to keep using it. Batteries are a common issue with cameras anyways, it’s pretty common to have to replace them every few years. So I can’t knock points on that. One thing I’ll say is that my Sony battery has lasted over six years, which is very unusual for a battery. I’ve never had a third-party battery last longer than an OEM battery. The reason I use third-party batteries is because I like having extras because of travel, even if they don’t last as long. So you kind of have to make that decision. ... show more

  • These batteries and this charger are pretty decent. Go for it!
Batteries are pretty decent! You get what you pay for. It's a small kit of three batteries with a small charger. Comes with a USB-C to USB-A charging cable, but it'll also work with a micro USB cable in case you carry it around with your camera. The charger itself is also pretty portable, it's just a rectangle so you can honestly shove it into any bag, but when you stick all three batteries in, it requires more space, so you might want to store the batteries in a different part of your bag instead of shoving it all in the same spot. The charger itself also has a small screen! It'll show you the percentage each battery has before its fully charged. I'd say you get a decent amount of bang for your buck compared to other chargers like it. I haven't had any issues on my a6400 or Sony A7. Both are able take photos, but I notice battery life isn't as strong as the OEM Battery on my Sony A7, but I think that's because the Sony A7 takes more power compared to an APS-C Camera like the a6400. Oh, before I forget, OEM batteries work through the charger! Overall, I recommend it. Great value with both shooting video and taking loads of photos. ... show more

  • A practical upgrade over juggling one or two tired NP-FW50 batteries
Out of the box, this kit immediately feels like a practical upgrade over juggling one or two tired NP-FW50 batteries. The three batteries have a solid, OEM-like build, and the 3-slot LCD charger is compact without feeling cheap. The screen is clear and easy to read, showing each battery’s charge status at a glance, which is surprisingly useful when you’re packing up for a shoot. In real use, the 1500mAh capacity does deliver noticeably longer runtime than older 1100mAh third-party batteries. On my Sony ZV-E10 and A6000-series bodies, each battery comfortably handled extended photo sessions and moderate video recording without sudden drop-offs. Having three batteries on hand means you can shoot all day without constantly worrying about power, especially for travel, events, or long outings. The charger is simple and flexible to use. Being able to charge all three batteries at once is a big time-saver, and the dual input (USB-C and Micro-USB) makes it easy to plug into a power bank, car charger, or laptop. It’s an easy setup—plug it in, drop the batteries in, and you’re done. The built-in safety protections add peace of mind, especially if you’re leaving batteries charging overnight. Pros include solid battery life, wide camera compatibility, simultaneous charging, and the clear LCD display. Cons are minor—the batteries don’t last quite as long as Sony originals in heavy 4K video use, and the charger doesn’t support fast charging beyond standard USB speeds. Still, for the price, the value is excellent. This kit is ideal for Sony shooters who want dependable backup power without paying OEM prices—especially travel photographers, vloggers, and anyone running older NP-FW50-based cameras who wants less downtime and more time shooting. ... show more

  • Great little set of Sony batteries. I'll be buying more.
Nice little pack of Sony camera batteries. If you own an older Sony camera, you know just how power hungry they were and the batteries were always a little undersized, at least for video use. With that said, you'll also understand the need for multiple batteries in your bag to get through a job, event or whatever. You get about 40 minutes of video recording at, the highest quality with many older Sony mirrorless cameras... That's it! This brings me to these batteries. They seem to last just as long as the factory batteries I've owned. Not sure if they'll last as long but for now there seems to be no difference. Camera works just as well, does not complain about aftermarket batteries... It just works. For the price, these are better than the Sony alternatives. You can buy this whole set for less than a single factory battery. Heck, you also get a charger in the deal too. The charger is nice. I like the way the batteries mount, standing up. It makes the charger take up less space, while also holding more than the usual 2 cell charger (50% more). That's nice. It charges fairly quickly too. Overall, this set has been fantastic. They all work and seem to be holding up perfectly. ... show more
