I purchased several of these under the assumption that my teenage special-needs son was reckless and has destroying these. This is about the second time of purchase multiple sets of these. I assume that they were disappearing at school that was not the case. I finally have the displeasure of actually trying to use one, although the first day it achieved its purpose purposefully. On day two I attempted to use this item and the lightning jack portion broke off into my iPhone, leaving me with no option to play audio for the remainder of that day in the social acceptable manner and also terrified me because I was unsure if I could get the Lightening portion out of the iPhone. I was finally able to remove it with tweezers in prayer. I will never purchase these item again. I do not recommend that anyone does, and if you have been using this for children and excusing them of being careless, you should probably apologize! ... show more

I bought these as I thought they would last longer than the official apple ones but the reason for it coming in a pack of three must be due to the fact that they break very easily, I used them daily to listen to music and just from being in my pocket the lightning tip broke on all three. Also for the short time that they did work, the charging was very slow to the point where my phone was actually losing charge. The volume up and down on my apple earbuds did not work with this adapter. Save your money and time and just get the apple one. ... show more
